#cable knit
I did the entire cuff with only ribbing before realizing that the cables go ALL the way up the sock , but I frogged it and took a short time-out and I’m finally finished with the cuff for real now
Well.
Decided to start and finish my friends husband’s evergreen agathis hat for the ravellenics.
11.5 hours of knitting later, here we are.

A current trend that I am utterly obsessed with is over-the-knee socks. Hurry up and pick up a pair for yourself, because stores are selling out of these babies fast! Though it is important to choose fall friendly colors (given the time of the year), you cannot go wrong pairing these with a pleated skirt and a simple top (maybe even an oxford if you’re into Gossip Girl!) to get that classy collegiate look. For an edgier and looser look, they could be paired with a skater skirt and a leather jacket. No matter how you decide to wear them, over-the-knee socks are definitely in right now.
Local stores I have seen over-the-knee socks being sold at: American Apparel,Forever 21, & Target

Classic Turtleneck B&W - A flashback to a photo I took before a night out in Chicago. The giant collar and soft alpaca wool were perfect for the 20F weather.
Teaching myself how to cable knit has resulted in some cabled arm warmers! I was able to slightly modify this pattern from The Snugglery, and I think they turned out great!!
