The joy of “layering season”—wearing my new Huaraz Hat (pattern by Kirsten Kapur/Through the Loops) and my Chelsea Girl Shawl (pattern by me, available on Etsy or Ravelry).
Knitting a hat in less than a week—yay! (Pompoms weren’t attached or tails woven in yet in this pic, but all done last night.)

It’s worked over 2 sts: K1 tbl the second st without dropping it from LH needle, K1 tbl and drop both sts from LH needle.

Teaching myself how to cable knit has resulted in some cabled arm warmers! I was able to slightly modify this pattern from The Snugglery, and I think they turned out great!!
