I had an email from someone yesterday who told me that they loved my Poppy Watercolours so much, they used them as inspiration for their wedding cake!

It looks fantastic & what’s even more amazing is that all of the flowers are edible & made from florist paste!

What an honour! Thanks guys for sending me the photos! xx

Love how this one turned out!! Edible gold spray paint used for the flower, prepared ahead of time with several coats.

A “Sing” birthday cake, the customer will be adding a figurine of Ash onto the stage.

I am in love with how this turned out! JAWS themed cake. Friendly reminder that sharks are not interested in eating you, shark attacks are vanishingly rare! Now, if you see a vending maching floating surreptitiously closer to you in the open ocean, SWIM FOR YOUR LIFE.

Customers were teenagers getting a cake for their school math event. I can’t lie, I am absolute garbage at math, lol. I can still do an awesome math cake though! I hope their jaws drop. I am super pleased with how this turned out, especially with getting to sneak Finn the Human in there ;)

cake for my Dad’s birthday. He collects knives, including the ones he’s inherited grom his father before him. As a kid growing up, a safe bet for a gift for dad was always a knife or something related to hunting; I’m sure the knives us kids got him were both of embarrassingly cheap quality, and some of his favourite ones simply because they came from us. He’s my protector, and I’m so thankful for him. The look of shock and joy on his face when he saw this cake was so worth the five hours it took to make it, lol.

This is both the first cake I’ve ever made that was shaped, and the first cake I’ve ever made useing fondant! I’m sure it’s not as professional as all that, but I’m pretty dang proud of how it turned out!

i figure cakes count as additions to the art blog, so here is my little easter guy
