Here’s video 2/3 for the Kingsmen! The Kingsmen are my faction in Weekend Warrior- an experiential live action event that will be filmed, documentary style, and challenge you in a new form of medieval-style outdoor adventure. I’m joining forces with Skip Lipman and Ron Newcomb of the Forge Studios- they’re well known for the series, ‘The Rangers’, and also Zan Campbell of Fell and Fair, and together we’re creating this event. For more, check out our Weekend Warrior Kickstarter, which has a few days to go!

Kingsmen shoot: Behind the Scenes in Québec City. Shooting to promote our team in the Weekend Warrior Kickstarter. My stunning #Calimacil Solingen sword basks in dawn light on the battlements.
Lady Mirabella Montiliyét (me) standing in the centre line before the start of a really, really long battle. It was brilliant to fight beside my fellow Siconze they’re all so skilled and more importantly, beautiful.
There are more photos to come from Swordcraft Spring Quest obviously! Lady Mirabella Montiliyét post grand battle that went for 2-3 hours. What a slog! Portrait Photography (Tony Delov)
Did an end of season larp shoot ❤️ this is my main girl Bella, I’ve played her a little over three years now and don’t think I could get sick of being her. Mercenary lieutenant, recent student of the dragon goddess of fire and passion and general shit disturber.

If any locals would like to know more about havok and how to join please let me know :) we’re a character and plot rp immersed larp and all around I think a pretty great crew with an amazing WM team who are always open about listening to input, letting players drive the game and are fantastic at making sure it stays a fun, safe and respectful game for all.
My absolute favourite sword is definitly the Katzbalger, a trust short sword used by the 16th century landskneckh. Nothing fancy but the feeling of having a nimble and sturdy sword feels safe. I bet a real sharp one would cut nicely! Huuuuhuhu.
This particular model is the Cretzer by @calimacil_official Another wonderful foam sword that behave quite nicely as a safe sparring implement!
Weekly exercise! Thanks to @hoshino.armory for filming me during my 1km run. Well, I had to split the 1km to run and walk because I wore the wrong shoe. But overall, tons of fun, the kids around the park loved it!!! (So happen that there was a junior soccer tournament going on, so there was no shortage of audience!)
Best cardio workout!
Tried to run with the @calimacil_official zweihanded, but ended up holding it like a poleaxe anyway haha.
First project of the year: lamellar. I have a massive soft spot for eastern armour and Rus style, but never really get a chance to wear it because we’re stuck pretty firmly in the XIVth century. When we had a night off I took the opportunity to throw together a kit and get on the field. The only thing I was really missing was gauntlets. I took most inspiration from the 11th century.
We’ve had this lamellar stuff lying around the craft room for years, and I’m always stubbing my toes on it. They’re 18ga (1mm) mild steel plates, laced together with leather thonging. The straps are made from leather and sewn on/ reinforced with artificial sinew. I made my breastplate in like 8 hours because I’m the size of a child, whereas it took Kieran 3 years to make his because he’s super lazy. I’m going to do another post later with WIP/ up close pictures of how it’s constructed and what it’s looks like on the inside, because it’s pretty interesting.
Belt, greaves, pants under tunic, gambeson: ArmStreet. Helmet: It’s called an Italo-Norman cabaset helm and I have no idea where we got it from, we’ve had it in our personal armoury for years. Axe:Calimacil Dane Axe
Get a girl who can do both! The Prime Minister of Granada and Duchess Cecilia of Chesterwick, in our finery and then in our armour! This was taken at the most recent Swordcraft Quest, an Australian LARP battlegame with over 500 attendees.
