Hey everyone, I wanted to share a new digital painting that I’ve been working! I want to expand a bit the subject matters that I paint so I decided to make an artwork of a Centaur! I hope that you’ll like him!
I did an art trade with @frankly-art and I painted his Centaur character, Anderson in a semi-realistic style! It was my first time doing a fully colored artwork of a Centaur! . Also yes, he’s holding a cell phone, his character is modern fantasy creature.
With a thick agriculture accent and brash sense of humor most are surprised to find Sabine as one of the figure heads of the infantry division. However the more you talk to this fiery pony the more it makes sense. Under the gruff, quick to anger exterior Sabine is a clever, intelligent young mind with a knack for battle tactics. Though, if you’d like to keep your nose intact, maybe avoid any pony comments. The only person in the world who can get away with calling her “cute” things is Fran, her best friend. Not even Velir, who’s known her since the agriculture days can do that, though. Their friendship has a lot more to do with banter and sparring.
I’ve been reading The Centaurs by André Lichtenberger and wondered about the term « 6-legged beasts »… Like, no animal has six legs… and isn’t it weird for them to have two ribcages? Anyway, i tried to draw centaurs with only one ribcage lol
