Project Overview : Sprout Skull
An exercise in hand-painted texturing with an underlit look, diffuse only with no baked occlusion or other maps.
Responsible for all 3D aspects (sculpt, retopology, UVs, textures, rigging), based on concept sketch by Natália Chromá.

My friends and I have decided that sometime within the next 30 years, we’re going to make a cyberpunk game. I also wanted to make a character with a whip. So was born: Cyberpunk Balrog.

Jim is a demon that punishes lost souls for crimes of fashion. I swear this started as a stylized anatomy study. It only got weird later.
Here’s the in-class practice model! Our teacher had us follow along as he demonstrated the process, and had us apply what we learned to our homework model. We were left to our own devices as far as clothing/hairstyling/texturing tho.
He came out alright methinks!
