“Onitherium” in Progress Sculpt
Onitherium and his sleazy manger/championship belt are a low-ranked Fossil Ghoul combining the traits of the ancient mammal uintatherium, an oni, and a pro-wrestling heel.
The sculpt is currently symmetrical, after which he’s going to get a shoulder-strap on one side for his singlet. His Dark Heart incarnates poor sportsmanship, cheating and rudeness, All the Fossil Ghouls are bullies when the opportunity arises, but this guy, I think, owns that as his schtick.
I can see him and Dimetrogorgon teaming up for rock-brained schemes.

LaBrea the Vampire Smilodon 2″ Toy Sculpt
I’m working on sculpts from DynoGuard and other “Battle Animal” characters of my own as a side-project to give myself something to free-sculpt on. LaBrea is the first Fossil Ghoul sculpt to be finished in this style.
For LaBrea, I explored some of my recent fascination with 90s-era Playmates sculpting, but more toned down than the likes of Wakey-Wakey (Eggs and Bakey). The asymmetrical drips and the extra sculpted details in her “hair” were fun to do.

Purchased an app called Nomad Sculpt for my iPad couple days ago and I have been testing it out a bit. I have heard lots of good things about it and I actually really start liking it! Let’s see how this will turn out :))

Here is my little 3D character all done! I didn’t do much planning when I started sculpting her (which I don’t recommend doing!), I just wanted a very doll like fae character with chubby fingers and big round head. I think she turned out quite cute and I want to give her a name, but I don’t have no idea what that could be!

I have been practicing 3D modeling a lot lately. Mainly just trying to figure out how to rig my characters properly so I sculpted this little fae girl for that purpose and wohooo I successfully constructed a functional rig for her to pose!
( I will finish the character at some point, I was just too eager to move to rigging.)

This is a bit different, but I’m making a tweaked Tennant doll head sculpt to print at a larger scale and I wanted to hear if anyone has some thoughts/critique/suggestions on the face sculpt/anatomy before I commit! I’ll add some asymmetry near the end. The shoulders, hair and polypaint are just to help visualize.
