We know that Tessa and Jem told Jace family stories about his ancestors and he knows a lot about them now BUT WHY THEY DON’T TELL CLARY ABOUT HER ANCESTORS?
Like she needs to know she comes from strong, brave, smart and kind people too, she especially needs to know about the strong and amazing Charlotte Fairchild and not only about her psycho father and brother
And I know Clary probably do knows about Charlotte being the first female Consul but I want her to know her family stories too
Charlotte and Henry deserve to be remembered! Just as much as Will

Clary was raised stranged from her family history. She deserves to know about the her family history just like Jace!!
It’s really fucking sad and almost insulting that Charlotte Fairchild, the first ever female consul, who served for 25+ years is not talked about enough or even mentioned much in the shadow world.
That woman was part of the Automaton war, almost single-handedly managed the London institute and Enclave, took responsibility for Will, Jem, Tessa and Jessamine (no easy feat) and basically popularized portal travel.
