Does anyone else think about how much Will Herondale loved to read?
I do, but mainly because I love to read as well. And it got me thinking why does Will love to read? Then it hit me, the curse. This poor boy had been on his own for twelve years. Yes, he had Jem and those at the institute like Charlotte and Henry, but he didn’t know that. He thought he had to push everyone he loved away to protect them from himself. I imagine he grew tired of doing that for years and he wanted to feel like he wasn’t alone anymore. So, what does he do? He turns to books. In books he found his new friends, ones he could love and not have to worry about them dying. He got to pretend to be the main characters and go on adventures with his friends feeling all the emotions he didn’t think he could experience with Jem and his family at the institute.
Just when I think I couldn’t love this boy anymore. Will Herondale always finds a way to hit me right in the feels.
Literally dying inside this took me like, what, two weeks? two and a half weeks? pure pain.
There’s a lot of blue in this because it represents Tessa’s warlock-ness(?) lmfao.
Will is wearing dark blue because it’s a good colour on him and it represents that he married a warlock bc herondales simp love only once.
the tie around lucie’s waist is (supposed to be, it looks kinda green ignore that) white silk, to represent her power over the dead (we stan).
James is wearing mostly black because boi turns into a shadow. The blue ring on his finger i’m sure i think i meant to be green to represent his bond with Matthew but uh…it didn’t look great so i changed it. sorry Math.
There are two curtain colour versions: gold and blue. this is ‘cause WIll and tessa got married in gold and blue.
Tessa is wearing blone and lavender because lavender is nice okay and bone is from the shadowhunters children’s rhyme: bone for those who don’t grow old.

Also just an fyi I’m going to be closing up my etsy mid-may until probably next year because I’m moving (this doesn’t apply to most of you but for the handful of people who this applies to you know who you are just letting you know I’m gong to start taking down ads as soon as this week)

Sorry guys this isnt a new story or chapter. I’ve been reading this book Chain of Gold from Cassandra Clare’s book collection of the Shadowhunters.
I havent finished it… but this may spoil stuff for some people. Idk
So like I’m pretty sure James Herondale ends up with Cordelia Carstairs… but we still get Emma Carstairs later down the line. This means Alastair (Cordelia’s brother) gets married and has kids. As of right now I’m not sure how I feel about Emma being a decendent of his
