Another of my favourite comics from 2020! Haha, Mike looked so sad and sorry for me!! I felt kind of bad hahaha. Did you ever have an awkward moment when you thought you were talking to someone and they weren’t even there to hear you? I’m currently on a trip so I thought I’d sprinkle a few older comics through my update schedule for a couple of weeks just to give myself a rest. I’ll see if I can post some photos from the trip in my Instagram stories :).
Half of my childhood was spent worrying about not being close enough to Mama I think LOL. For the first pre-school class that I went to - the parents were allowed to sit outside for the duration just to help that transition for kids who weren’t used to being apart from their parents for very long (aka me). Of course as soon as I realised I could excuse myself to go to the bathroom - I used it as an opportunity to escape to Mama HAHA.
Maya is an old and sweet dog who is partially blind. She has a nighttime routine where she takes a stroll around the house and then goes back to sleep near my sister. When I stayed over around New Years, Maya got confused and thought that the couch was my sister’s bed.

Imposter syndrome basically means having constant self doubt about your abilities despite having evidence of the fact that you CAN actually do what you want to do. For example when you get a job because you are good at it but you feel like you don’t deserve it and you don’t actually belong there (aka like an imposter).
I’ve been writing stories for a while now but I have a few projects at the back of my mind that always feel too ambitious to try writing. I can’t always tell if it’s just imposter syndrome or maybe I need to get my writing skill to a higher level first… But lately I’ve realised that if I don’t at least TRY chipping away at writing those - I may never get to do them at alll. Hmmm. I’ll keep at it hehe :> I can get better through practice.

Garfield in The Fantastic Funnies (1980)
https://youtu.be/xm7kvKzoyKw Jim Davis’ Garfield the cat first appeared in animated form in The Fantastic Funnies (1980), a strange special hosted by Loni Anderson.
It was produced by Lee Mendelson and Bill Melendez who produced the Peanuts specials, and who did the first few Garfield specials afterward. Garfield was played by Scott Beach, who voiced “The Death Star plans are not in the main computer” in Star Wars, among other things.
The animation adapts a few early strips which had a fatter design for Garfield, and the thinner design here isn’t quite right. They’re still figuring out how to draw the cat. This follows a Tumbleweeds segment, which Jim Davis also worked on.

you might recall that i posted three character designs last spring and asked for name suggestions. well, the characters are back!! in comic form!! im happy to launch my comic about three transgender guys sharing a flat!!! <3
this comic is gonna be a chill slice of life comic strip about queer stuff and life in general, because i think trans people deserve a break from hostility and negativity at this point.
i’ll post the strips on my patreon about a week earlier than they’re posted publicly, so head over there if you wanna see the comics before everyone else!

I always think of this comic strip I did (in 2005!) whenever I see that my friends back in New England are enduring another blizzard while I’m safe and snow-free in Florida.
I created Tulsa’s grandmother’s helpful rhyme, but sadly it never caught on.
“Mucus clear, never fear
Mucus green, cough up your spleen
Mucus yellow? One sick fellow
But if your phlegm is brown or red–say your prayers, you’re almost dead”
originally I wanted to do something more elaborate, but time issues didn’t allow it XD maybe next time
