Long time no tumblr post. I’ve been dealing with lots of major life upheavals lately. Here’s some Mollymauk spam from when I shot with @aerobynphoto over on Instagram last spring! I had just finished majorly upgrading Molly’s coat, horns, and tail.

My final version of Mollymauk’s coat, with all of the beading done, sparkling in the sunlight. It was a lot of time and effort for just a little bit of shimmer but I’m very happy with it.
We made questionable beverage decisions and then hopped on DDR at Ichibancon as Molly and Nott in our rave outfits. This is now how I headcanon the scene of them dancing in Hupperdook.

Finally got a chance to shoot with the swords. My con-approved prop scimitars got stomped on and snapped in half at Dragon Con. Luckily I had backup swords, but they are definitely not con safe, haha.
Really digging the sword and tarot pics from this shoot, can’t wait to post them all.
Sometimes you and your best friend are too goofy to take actual serious shippy photos but you’re also so goofy that your photos can accidentally look shippy but in the like sickeningly sweet kind of way. And sometimes the camera is acting weird and a few photos are. out of focus but that’s okay because you’re still happy to have such awesome and talented friends who take pictures with/of you for fun. And sometimes you spend 100s of hours on a cosplay for a character you love only for his plot line to abruptly go south around 2 dozen episodes in right as you finish embroidering that stupid coat and then have to indulge yourself in fluff. Don’t judge me.

So my brother is new to the Critical Role Community
He’s been watching Campaign Two for the past few days and he’s made it to episode four. Throughout this process, he’s been keeping me up to date with what he thinks about the world, magic, and characters.
As a bit of a veteran fan, this is very amusing to me.
But so far this has been my favorite comment of his:
“All these guys don’t really seem like they’re on the up-and-up to me. Most of them are running from something or they’re criminals - I mean, Caleb and Nott were in freaking prison. As far as I can tell Mollymauk is the most normal, morally-guided person without a criminal record or sketchy backstory.”
This obviously made me die laughing. The fact that he thinks MOLLY is the most normal, decent person in that party KILLS ME
