Happy Easter!!!!

Today is Easter Sunday, the day in which our Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ, rose from the dead, officially cleansed humanity of its sins, & ultimately created our religion of Christianity (which of course includes the denomination that is Catholicism). Today is one of the most, if not THE most, important day for all of us Catholics & fellow Christians, as it’s the day in which our relationship with God was restored through Jesus Christ, & through His teachings we can ultimately return back to our true home. So to celebrate this wonderful holiday, I thought it’d be appropriate to put together a picture set, since this blog celebrates Catholicism. The top picture underneath the header shows a painting of Jesus walking out of the tomb in which He was buried, with the stone gently placed to the side of the doorway. The middle picture shows another painting of Jesus rising & walking out from the tomb, only this time with two loyal angels of God by His side. Finally, the bottom pictures shows the modern day traditions many of us use to celebrate Easter: it shows a rabbit, presumably the Easter Bunny, in a basket observing all the colorful eggs in a sunny field.

I would include an added bonus of Easter songs like I did with the Christmas post, but there really aren’t that many strictly Easter songs. The only one I could think of is “Here Comes Peter Cottontail”, but that’s about it. Sorry about that!

Anyway, I hope that you guys have a wonderful Easter this year, & as always thank you so much for your support of this blog. Happy Easter!

Reblogging this post from last year in case any of my newest followers didn’t see this. HAPPY EASTER!!!!

Happy Lunar New Year! Our 14th issue drops now—read on for more details!

Which are the aromas coaxing you to sleep at night? Which are the whiffs you track to a fight? Which are the trails you follow home?

Scents are often treated as slippery, effervescent—clouded gates to locked memories and the stuff polluting forgotten nightmares. Yet, in the midst of their poetic gauze, they can still be numbing and inundating. Sine Theta Magazine is pleased to introduce Issue #14 “PERFUME 香”: a heady, electrifying compendium of evocative artwork, steely poetry, and thoughtful conversation.

A slice of what this 43-paged print issue brings to the table: Kimberly Kiong’s photo series “Perfume” calls to mind the fleeting childhood “chouchou.” paul aster stone-tsao’s poem “Flatulence” tackles the visceral onslaught of spoors. Kwan Ann-Tan’s “Dirge of the Hungry Ghosts” encircles the special place food holds in memory and veneration. A record number of sinθ staff members dissect diaspora gatekeeping, class privilege, ethnic enclaves, and more in a heated editors’ conversation about the potential of a global Sino diasporic community.

Art director Elisabeth Siegel converses with performance artist Patty Chang, discussing Chang’s recent project involving ablution of a beached whale and her past work in China with minoritized figures and communities. Editor-in-chief Jiaqi Kang speaks with Seattle-based artist Stevie Shao on Instagram’s influence on creator communities and stepping out from school into “the real world.”

Issue #14 “PERFUME 香” can be purchased here.

The sinθ team is grateful to all the contributors, interviewees, and supporters who have made this issue possible. Follow us on Twitter (@sinethetamag) to be the first to hear of a special thank-you event coming up soon!

The oriental kingdoms were put for a long time aside. Although the environment is hot and dry, the people continue to live there. Some people think that this earth(ground) is and was only desert and that only the barbaric peoples settled down there. Nevertheless the truth all is other.
Big one party of the Gods lived in Olympe or in of other one countered magic and distant. These divinities lived in the wealthiness and the egoism.
Among all the Gods only one handle(handful) did not like the luxury. Consequently they( withdrew in another world.

They were three, όνειρο God of the dream, παιδί God of the creation and διάθεση Goddess of the nature. Each parted for created what they needed.

    • όνειρο  Wanted an ground which does not stop moving and which would obey the wind, so he created a gigantic desert in the golden sand. This sand was also hot as the ember and so soft as the morning dew. He restored strength and courage.

    • παιδί wanted to put of the life in his kingdom so he created any sorts of creatures, immense or small, terrible or on the contrary touching, wild or tamed.

    • διάθεση Wanted to have a permanent contact with the earth so she created an immense oasis in the water sweet food and in trees divine. Her waterfalls had the power to give birth as to remove him it.

So were create his there Kingdoms, about which the legends make dream.
