I’m excited to announce that there’s a brand-new GOLD FOIL art print in my online shops!
This 11"x14" print was created from my recently completed Third Eye illustration, which was the third and final piece in my Golden Flowers series. As you can see from the photos, the foil is so reflective, I couldn’t avoid my camera appearing in every single shot.

Phew, I finally finished touching up this illustration. It was 19"x24", so I had to scan it in 4 separate pieces, and then put it back together in Photoshop. And because I started this illustration years ago, I had to clean up a lot of pencil lines that had gotten “burned” into the paper.
Anyway, this is the largest illustration I’ve ever done, and I used black ink, metallic gel pens, fineliner pens, metallic watercolors, and absurd amounts of patience.
Also, there were several people who were interested in purchasing this illustration when I first started posting process photos, however, this piece was already sold at a show last month. I’m working on the files needed to create a gold foil art print, however, and I’ll let y'all know when it’s available.

Cyborg upgrade? Yes please!
Always loved the look of the first robocop without the visor so i wanted to paint a piece like that, went with alot of blues to envoke those blue filter type movies like terminator 2 and other james cameron and even john carpenter movies.

Long-living androids/cyborgs outliving their peers and watching so many of their friends die that they start to willingly put themselves in harms way to keep their loved ones safe for as long as they can. They can survive most of the damage due to their mechanics, so every time the team gets in a fight they run straight into the fray without a care for their own safety to act as a shield for the others since they’ll be unaffected by damage. But what happens when A finally meets their match…?
