We all are living in this 21th century world which is very competitive and fast moving. Honestly, for teenagers just like us, this world is getting very tough day by day and very stressful to even survive this race of teenage life . Here everyone is doing some or the other extraordinary thing and as an individual, we also get a lot of pressure from our schools, our parents and even from our friends to do just something that makes you standout from the crowd. This creates a lot stress which can lead to mental depression or anxiety. So the first thing to stop all the mental issues is to stop stressing out. And we can do it by different distress processes which are mentioned below.
1.Chill , calm down and just for a second stop being overwhelmed because nothing good can ever happen when your overwhelmed by the stuff around you.
2. Drink water . It might help you when you keep a glass of water near the place where you are working .
3. Check out your eating habits. Eating more of unhealthy food might lead your brain to function inappropriately and this may lead to stressful situations. So go and fix your eating habits with more nutrients, protein and vitamins
4.Take some break from your work . Do some stretching and eye exercises during the break .
5. Talk to some friends or family. By talking to them about your problems can help a lot. Sometimes they can even come out with a solution to your problem.
6. Having good sleep and taking naps in between. If you can afford good sleep then it’s great . But if you are a hard worker and couldn’t get a proper sleep then it’s very important to take 15-20 minutes of small naps in between. It will help you in long term .
7. Clean out your working space. A nice, tidy and clean space can calm your brain when you are already in a stress mode .
8. Go out . Do some yoga or exercise. Have a nice morning jog or a comfortable evening walk. Get some air inside your lungs.
9. Take a nice shower. I know this is different but listening to your favourite music while showing boosts your mind and creates positive energy around you.
10. Lastly follow your passion and your hobbies.
