Storytelling is one of the many age old rituals that take place when people gather and drink whisky.
As part of Fable Whisky’s identity, I was commisioned to create the first set of illustrations and animation short to accompany the release of the bottle. The idea being that as you sample the whisky you also submerge yourself in the story. For this, they chose a legend that really represents the mystery and rugged beauty of Scotland: The Ghost Piper of Clanyard Bay

If you’re not watching Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace, you’re doing it wrong and you should be watching it immediately. In this drawing, I tried a couple of new brushes, and they are cool. What do you think of the lights and colors here?
I showed my last drawing, Melanie By The Window to Cesar (the character belongs to him because he’s the writer), and he said, “Wow she looks super realistic here!” and honestly I was surprised because it wasn’t my intention. I just wanted to practice the lights and colors. I’m not into super realistic drawings, I like it much better when you can just indicate what’s there with brush strokes. Anyway, I hope you like this Julian Barratt’s fanart. Who doesn’t like him as a preacher man… I mean, Priest.
Both are drawn in the span of time of 2 months… I guess. The interesting part of his face is clearly his nose, but it’s really fun to draw! I took my art instructor’s advice to be creepy and looking at a bunch of his pictures, especially his nose. I’m sorry, I know it’s weird lol

Well, not really. I’ve been meaning to draw him since my Pinterest feed had done a great job, flooded my feed with his pictures (I don’t even remember which Ayoade’s picture that I saved to my board), but it made me realized that Ayoade is one of the best-dressed men.
Loved working on this piece. It was fun to draw. Especially Locke. But honestly can’t stand him. What a Bastard. Can he just die already. Hope something terrible happens to him in the next book. This was commissioned by @wickandfable

I tried to make him more muscular but somehow he still looks skinny. But I’m not really sorry for it I had so much fun painting him. His style is a clear example of what kind of boys I liked when I was teen I kinda still do hope you guys will like my version of Ruhn Danaan. He is from Crescent City by @sjmaas
