I think I’ve figured out the issues and how to get them to work again so I’m currently going through all the posts to re hyperlink everything
this may take some time but hopefully by the end the posts should be restored and you should be able to follow any hyper links to any other post that may help explain certain terms or objects better!

BLOGANNOUNCEMENT
I’m thinking of drafting up a master post with some FAQ on spellcraft.
I get a lot of messages and asks everyday which I LOVE but sometimes it’s hard to keep up and repeat the same answer, so I wanted to create a place that maybe could host those FAQ to help make those answers more accessible constantly insted of just when I answer my inbox (which I’ll admit I’ve been having some difficulty finding a balance of blogging and figuring things out in terms of moving and finding a new day job irl) so I wanted to make these questions less daunting by having a master post where certain questions are hyperlinked to asks I’ve already answered!
This doesn’t mean I won’t be answering asks or my inbox I still 100% will be making my way through them I just wanted to offer something in the meantime while I’m finding this balance.
I guess what I’m asking is would this be something you all, as my followers (and even if you’re seeing this and aren’t following me please let me know what you think too!) would enjoy having access to! thank you so much for all of your support along this journey I’m so grateful for everyone of you

I’m very happy to announce that anon asks are now being accepted again! this have come after much thought and contemplation and I’ve taken what I believe the necessary steps to sure we don’t run into the issue we were having before

It’s been one chaotic time the last little bit. And today I posted a little update about what the plan for the blog is. (check out the update HERE)I didn’t check back on this app today because I’ve been just so busy butttt just now looked. And we hit the 1500 followers mark when I started this witch blog a few months ago I never would have fathomed the community I would find here. Thank you all so much for your support! It means so much to me and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put it into words my heart is so happy right now over this. Thank you. This was exactly the little pick me up I needed.

Hey there everyone! I know I’ve got some messages and asks to get back to, and that I haven’t been posting as much lately. I did get the anon stuff sorted out but lately I’ve been having to deal with some family issues and moving in with my current bf, so life has been all over the place.

THE LETTER E
A collection of words beginning with the letter E that are often used in context to the craft
- EQUINOX Equinoxes happen twice per year when the sun crosses the celestial equator resulting in a day and night that are the same length. The vernal equinox marks the beginning of spring and the autumnal equinox marks the beginning of autumn. Each equinox takes place on a different day for the southern and northern hemispheres. The word itself comes from the Latin for ‘equal’ and ‘night’.
- ENCHANT Put something under a spell or intent.
- EVOKE to evoke a spirit or to call it up, to summon it or bring it forth
- ELEMENTEarth, Air, Water,Fire and spirit are all examples of elements
- ELIXIR a magical potion/drink that is often infused with an intent and other tools such as herbs to help enhance the intent
- ELEMENT North, South, East and West are all examples of elements

today i finally got some time to do some magic for myself. And on Beltane none the less. So please enjoy this Beltane simmer pot!

4.CLOVER (purple/red)
- buds are used to bring good fortune in Love, Friendship, and Marriage,Protection, Hex Breaking, and Exorcism.

- DEITY WORK the act of forming relationships with one or multiple deities. These are terms often (but not exclusively) used in pagan and polytheistic communities.
- DEOSIL an old Scottish term for Turing or moving something Clockwise also called sunwise, or sunward. It’s opposite is Winddershins(counter-clockwise)
- DEVOTIONthe fact of following spiritual teachings, or worship: usually in terms of Gods/Goddesses and or spirits or ancestors.
- DIVINATION Divination is the umbrella term used for all practises which are used to tell the future or uncover knowledge by interpretation of omens, tarot, runes, pendulums etc.
- DOWSINGDowsing, also called water witching or divining, is an ancient art used to find the unknown, including the location of water or minerals, or unresolved questions.
- DREAM JOURNALA dream journal is a book to write down all the dreams you have. It’s done so you can decipher messages from your subconscious as a form of divination, or so that you familiarise yourself with your dreams in order to lucid dream or astral project easily.
- DRUIDISMis a spiritual or religious ideology that promotes the cultivation of honorable relationships with the physical landscapes, flora, fauna, and diverse peoples of the world, as well as with nature deities, and spirits of nature and place.
- DRYADis a tree nymph or tree spirit.

- CALL to invoke divine forces as in calling quarters, deities, ancestors, guides, etc.
- CANDLEMAS another name for Imbolc, the first of the fire festivals. Usually falling on or around February 1st to welcome spring
- CARDINAL POINTS/DIRECTIONS North, South, East, and West.
- CARTOMANCY divination through the use of cards. Such as tarot cards, oracle cards,Lemormand oracle, etc
- CAULDRON usually a three-legged pot often of cast iron, used to cook potions, for scrying, or as a Censor.
- CENSOR a heat-proof container used to burn incense; or herbs associated with the element of Air.
- CEREMONIAL MAGIC school or method of magic that places emphasis on the long, complex rituals; often referred to as ritualism.
- CHAKRASChakras are energy wheels through which energy flows. they all correspond to a different energy and colour. We need to keep these balanced in order to stay spiritually and physically healthy.
- CHALICE a fancy/decorative cup used in rituals to represent water and emotions and creation.
- CHANNELLING a word for mediumship; allowing a spirit or entity to speak through the individual.
- CHARGEto infuse an object with power or energy.
- CHARM an object that has been charged with power for a specific task
- CIRCLE CASTING Casting a circle is done to banish negative energy and create a sacred space in preparation for a spell or ritual, though it can also be cast unceremoniously to create a calm space for meditation or work.
- CIRCLE a sacred place in which a ritual or magical workings takes place
- CLAIRVOYANCE the ability of perceiving things and/or events in the future before they happen.
- CLEANSING Cleansing an item or person is done to remove any excess lingering energies that have been picked up from going about one’s day.
- CONE OF POWER psychic energy raised and focused by an individual or group mind to perform a specific task or to achieve a specific purpose.
- CONSECRATIONto purify and dedicate an object to a specific use. Usually a witch will consecrate a new wands or new tools to make them sacred.
- CORRESPONDENCES sets of ideas, concepts and beliefs about objects, sabbats, plants animals, or colors.
- COVENSTEAD the place a coven meets.
- COVEN A coven is the name given to a group of practitioners that perform rituals or celebrate the sabbats or other spiritual days together. The word originally referred to a group of people with similar interests.
- CRONEaspect of the Goddess represented by an old woman; associated with wisdom, the waning moon, crow, the colour black, and the sabbats Mabon, and Samhain
- CRYSTAL ELIXIR A crystal elixir is water that is infused with the energies from whatever type of water-safe crystal you choose to use in it. The elixir can be used for drinking or for use in rituals.(when using elixir’s for the purpose of drinking it is best to charge the elixir with the crystal in the OUTSIDE of the container for guaranteed safe consumption)
- CRYSTALSRocks and minerals which have different properties for uses in spells, rituals, and meditation.
- CULT a system of religious devotion toward a particular figure or object; often used negatively.
- CURSEA spell cast with the intention to send or bring about negative energy or bad luck for an extended period of time until broken.

- BANISHTo rid something of negative energy, or to drive it away
- BELTANEBeltane is a celebration which marks the halfway point between the spring equinox and summer solstice. During Beltane the veil between the world of the fay and our world is thinnest. In the northern hemisphere it’s celebrated on May 1 and in the southern on October 31.
- BESOM a ceremonial broom
- BIRTH CHARTYour birth chart shows the positions and houses all the planets were in at the time you were born. Many people don’t know that they have signs for each planet – not just the sun!
- BOOK OF SHADOWSsometimes known as a ‘Grimoire’, a Book of Shadows is a diary where a witch keeps all the records of their path, magic and discoveries.
- BALEFIRE a traditional bonfire held on the sabbats, especially Beltane.
- BANISH the magically send away or repel, especially negative energies or entities, from a person, home, or ritual area.
- BELL ritual tool used to invoke directional energies, ring in the sunrise on a sabbat, stir up energies, or frighten away faeries and harmful spirits.
- BIND to magically restrain
- BLESSING the use of magic to benefit an object or being
- BLOOD OF THE MOONa menstrual cycle which is also one of the most powerful times especially if it occurs on or around the full moon or new moon.
- BOLINE a white handled knife used for practical purposes such as cutting herbs or inscribing candles.
- BURNING TIMES a reference to a period during the Middle Ages when many witches and non-witches were executed by the church or by public officials for supposedly practicing witchcraft. Some estimates state as many as nine million people were killed (over the span of 300 years) while others offer more conservative numbers. By the end of the period, it became a favored means for officials, neighbors, and families to get rid of personal enemies or any unwanted person in the community, especially powerful women.

A collection of words beginning with the letter A that are often used in context to the craft!
- ACOLYTES one who attends or assists in a ritual, service, or procession
- AIR one of the four (or five) elements; element of the East; associated with intuition, learning, thought, and knowledge
- ALCHEMY a branch of High Magic developed in the Middle Ages which sought to magically and/or chemically turn base metals into gold through the use of a Philosophers Stone; also known as transmutation.
- ALEXANDRIAN A traditions of Wicca descended from the teachings of Alex Sanders, the “King of Witches.’
- ALTARA space specifically for spell work and rituals, it can be decorated with anything the witch wants, usually sacred or meaningful objects, magick tools, and flowers and crystals that corresponding to the sabbats or important life events and energy
- AMULETa powerful object(usually worn) that has the power to remove/ward off negative & unwanted energy
- ANGEL a spiritual being who acts as a messenger between the Divine and physical realms
- ANIMISM the belief that the divine is within everything
- ANOINT To smear or rub a ritual item with an oil with intention. Most commonly is done with candles.
- ANPSIpsychicphenomena involving animals and humans
- ARACNA the two halves of a tarot deck divided into Major and Minor; Major Major consists of 22 trumps while the minor consists of 56 suit cards.
- ARCHETYPE universal images and symbols commonly used to represent deities in forms that we can understand.
- ARCANE ancient or secret wisdom.
- ASTRAL BODYThe astral body is the psychic or spirit form that we take on when astral travelling. Some describe it as the soul.
- ASTRAL PLANEThe astral plane is a state of existence which you go to when astral projecting or doing astral magick. It is reached through altered states of consciousness where the astral body is free from the material body.
- ASTRAL PROJECTION the process of separating your astral body from your physical one to travel in the astral plane.
- ASTROLOGY the study of the effects of the movements and placements of planets and other heavenly bodies on human lives and behaviors; a form of divination.
- ATHAMEa ritual knife. Usually not ever used for actual cutting, but it can be depending on the practice.
- AURAAn aura is a subtle energetic field that surrounds objects, places, and living things. It’s undetectable to the human eye, however some people train to be able to detect and ‘read’ auras.
