I did a Violet Makeup test a while back. It helps having similar features to Emily, but I feel like not doing much for the makeup just makes me feel like it’s not really Cosplay Makeup. It’s not like Gaming Makeup which completely changes how I look.

HAPPY ALLURA’s day!!

I’m very excited for Rise of the Titans, I should have noticed the trailer sooner that two days ago, but better late than never!

Wizards and 3Below were nice but my definite favourite era of ToA was the Trollhunters era by far, so I’m very pleased that it’ll be coming back to that! (Or at least I assume it will since it’s Trollhunters:RotT not Tales of Arcadia:RotT)

I thought the trailer was great and I liked the sweet shot of Blinky and Jim walking together. It’s been some time since I’ve drawn these two and I think I’ve improved a bit since then :O

I love Dreamworks. I might be speaking heresy here but despite the studio’s up and downs, I favor Dreamworks far more than I favor Disney. I just feel like they make movies with a little more spice to them. Though they haven’t much impressed me much lately…

That said, it was kind of a given which film was going to win for me. I mean come on. I love a lot of these movies but Prince of Egypt is an honest to god (pun not intended) marvel from both a technical and visual standpoint. 

Does anyone know where the Disney bracket is? I want to do that one too.

One of the expression/eye-direction/face-design tests I did for each of the main characters on the film. I took most of the expressions straight from Dav Pilkey’s illustrations in the books and tried to find the most natural and appealing way of changing from one to the other. It is a technical test to help inform all the departments from modeling to rigging and animation. ( no sound )
