i like to think their magic is protective, yknow?? that spells like darkness and invisibility and misty step only come out when they need to protect themself, and it’s a subconscious way that they keep themself safe

do you ever think about elves being adopted by humans? about elves, growing and maturing slower than their human siblings? how their childhood lasts so much longer and it means that their time with the people closest to them is fleeting?
i really liked that prompt “draw your oc if the bad stuff had never happened” so i wanted to do it for cradove :3c
some key differences: - their hair is a lot longer and neater, since they never cut it as a form of rebellion - they have their ears pierced with traditional familial rings, because they were raised by their drow parents (and their parents were good) - they have clothes that fit them instead of clothes that have gone through seven different people - they’ve never gotten their hand smacked with a switch for stealing - their tooth was never punched out of place

wow wow wow, we made it to the end of 2021 in one piece
this has been a weird and eventful year!!! i finished my master’s degree and jumped right into my first full-time job, and now i’m just (mostly) patiently waiting to see if i get accepted into a doctoral program. i took real strides for my health, i stuck with artfight all the way through (which is something i’ve been wanting to do for years!!), and i got to spend a whole lot of time with my family. it was a big year for self-discovery and self-care, both of which i’m taking with me into the new year.
i don’t know what 2022 is going to bring, but if nothing else, i know i’m going to keep drawing through it!
what a happy family! i sure hope they don’t have opposing reactions to grief that rip their relationship apart and eventually make it so they’re unwilling to talk to each other!

Minicampaign i ran for my boyfriend and my partner a while ago, but i somehow forgot to post it here until now. Nevertheless, I love her and she is one of my all time favorite villains i‘ve ever played. Absolutely crazy in the coconut.
