I rather liked the Glorfindel/ Ecthelion painting style I used on my last wip, so I’m trying something similar for my darlings Elladan & Elrohir. Wip preview, ofc I’ll post smth more solid when it’s further along. Gosh how I love elven twins

i have so many feelings abt this though……after celebrían leaving, the twins maybe becoming isolated, angry, bitter…..maybe getting used to their human friends always dying, always leaving….torn between their identities…the fact that they saw arathorn die…the fact that elrond adopts aragorn as his son….“hope”…maybe they didn’t want to get attached again…but they do…the fact that to jrrt notes that young aragorn happily comes back to rivendell in the company of the sons of elrond…the fact that they joined aragorn with the rest of the rangers and are always following near him…healing people with him in minas tirith….riding out to the black gate…the fact that they stay behind in rivendell when elrond sails…and we still don’t know what they chose…
