I can honestly see Thranduil’s philosophy being “What would the Noldor do?” And then doing the opposite.
It’s worked wonderfully so far.

Nestadion of Rivendell - ‘the dark elf’ of Rivendell. Nestadion is a noldorian Elf (House of Finrod). The name means “Son of a Healer”.
Nestadion was portrayed by Jason Secto (Actor & Painter). In LOTR Secto portrayed five (!) Elves: Nestadion, Elvanir, Anyriand, Orophin, Thingalad.
