I just had this horrible nightmare/flashback (PTSD) and my attacker was there and I thought to myself, “Is this how I die?” The song from Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 started playing in the background. Then, the music stopped. Feliciano Vargas came in, punched him in the face, and Tarzan style carried me away. When we had gotten a safe distance away, he said, “Don’t be upsetti, have some spaghetti.” I laughed so hard I woke up. Fricking Northern Italy saved me from my worst nightmare and I could not be happier.

OOF SORRY THIS TOOK FOREVER there were so many ups and downs with this piece….anyways the reason I chose this topic was because I believe it’s a very prominent piece of history, especially for Italy, but for some reason it’s not something I’ve lever learned about! (I’m not Italian, but still). Not gonna lie, one of my inspirations was definitely, Auf Wiedersehen Sweetheart (T^T)
For this piece I’ve also decided to venture out of my comfort zones and try something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, which was to incorporate a lot of photos in my drawings! (kind of like a collage!). The background photo also sort of looks like fire which is really cool haha
