Ships aside can we all get an f in the chat for all of Azriel’s past and future partners. Like we all know how Rhysand was described and I didn’t think it could have gotten worse, but then we got to see Cassian in Silver Flames. And it’s well known that Azriel has the biggest wingspan, but how in the world could he be bigger than Cassian!? Like it can’t be possible. I am praying for whoever ends up with Azriel in the future books, she’s gonna need all the help she can get.

okay so I gotta say it .. I hate that Rhysand and Feyre are binded to eachother with this “Death bargain” . It is completely stupid.
Cause okay they’re clearly madly in love with one another and don’t wanna live in this world without eachother, i get that it’s romantic asf- IF THEY DIDNT HAVE A CHILD- did they think about what that would do to Nyx ? To their other children? If they died before he can get to know them ? And is left wondering why he had to lose not one but BOTH his parents and by CHOICE at that. They clearly didn’t think it through, and yes he’ll have the IC but it won’t be the same of having both your parents.
Do I wanna get completely RAILED by Eris and become his wife for an arranged political status and power, then eventually learn why he is the way he is and why he did the things he did, while still hating eachothers guts, but still getting comfortable enough where if anyone talks bad about the other we become defensive and protective while still denying eachothers sexual tension, where we’re both labeled as horrible people but deep down inside we know we’re both just misunderstood and have gone through traumatic experiences, but still believe neither of us are capable of love, until we see just how powerful we are and how together- with our flames-that power is unstoppable- YES, I do
As much as I love how the mating bond snaps in for couples .. SJM has to stop making everyone mates. It Just defeats the purpose of it being RARE and special. It should be something that surprises everyone, but it Just feels like everyone has one-
PLEASEE I think I need help because the idea of Eris and Nesta had me SCREAMING. You’re telling me they wouldn’t be Powerful together?
Ole boy was ready to give it ALL for her after a DANCE … maybe it’s just my enemies to lovers trauma but THAT couple would of been HOT asf … LITERALLY BURNING (with their flames)
Idk but I feel like this was THE book to actually get to know Eris and it didn’t really happen. I genuinely looked forward to having him around and him having his redemption arc-
— Also as much as I love Nessian- it would have been fun to see Nesta and Eris interact more etc.
I just don’t ship Azriel with neither Elain or Gwyn.. I feel like there’s just something missing! I’m starting to love the idea of Azriel and Rhys’ sister having a strong connection before her death
Just think about it, they would have grown up together as children and been around each-other a lot ugh I can totally see it. SJM needs to pull one of her crazy ass ideas and bring her back to life
I’m ready to say my possible unpopular opinions about ACOSF
SPOILERS
1) Nessian needed more fluff and heart to heart moments. As much sexual tension as there was for the past 2 books I just wish in this book they focused on the actual lovey dovey parts
2) I said this before and I’ll say it AGAIN, I genuinely didn’t care that Mor was gone the majority of this book . Thank you .
3) WE NEEDED MORE AZ, i still feel like Az was barely in this book as well, I was sooo ready for more interactions with him
4) don’t hate me but I think it’s clear I LOVED the idea of Nesta and Eris. That ship has sunk to the bottom of the ocean to never see the surface again but I still think they would have been a POWERFUL ass couple..
5) ATLEAST more banter between Eris and Nesta was necessary. Sjm could have done so much more with them as a friendship and she just wasted it. I kind of wanted them to be like a Fenrys and Aelin. Him pining over her cause she’s just so fucking amazing and powerful and beautiful and her just chilling knowing she is amazing and powerful
6) Nyx is the cutest baby but his parents are DUMB. That’s it. That’s all . I love my feysand but they’re complete idiots
7) I genuinely don’t care care much about Amren and Tarquins relationship.. they spent a great amount of time minding their business as they should
8) ELAIN IS TOTALLY BEING SET UP TO BE EVIL. I am 100% HERE FOR ITTTTT. We need evil elain to try to kill them all and make Az go crazy trying to find her and idk maybe someone dies !?!?!?!?
but as she stares into Azriel’s eyes and his shadows scream to lung at her and grab her before she disappears, she whispers something so low she knows only his shadows will hear, and with a cruel smile, he falls to his knees.
The shadowsinger’s eyes now where the beautiful woman, so sweet-so gentle he once loved, was gone. And no one spoke or moved as his eyes went dead. His shadows swirling around him completely swallowing him whole, and Azriel then vowed to raise hell and go to the ends of the earth to get Elain back..
