Ships aside can we all get an f in the chat for all of Azriel’s past and future partners. Like we all know how Rhysand was described and I didn’t think it could have gotten worse, but then we got to see Cassian in Silver Flames. And it’s well known that Azriel has the biggest wingspan, but how in the world could he be bigger than Cassian!? Like it can’t be possible. I am praying for whoever ends up with Azriel in the future books, she’s gonna need all the help she can get.

I honestly need a spin off tv series of Friends for the inner circle. I can just see one episode being just Cassian’s adventures in summer court and the fake laughing track as Cas destroys the building.

There has been a whole war going on about Gwyn looking like Elain in art commissions and unfortunately I have spent some time sorting Elriel losers on Instagram for it .
Here is a guide based on CANON on the stand out features of Gwyneth Berdara.
Hair :
- Rich coppery chestnut pin straight. Reference chapter 9 ACOSF.
- In the sunlight coppery brown that looked like strands of gold glinting Chapter 25 and like the molten metal Bonus chapter.
Find the references for the range of hair colours that come under copper brown .
- This is different from the rich brown hair of Elain. Find the references to Elains hair as indicated by die hard Elain stans below.
Now for the eyes of Gwyneth Berdara
- Large teal eyes that glowed like the sunlit sea and was a perfect match to her invoking stone . CHAPTER 25 ACOSF. What teal eye colour would cover find a reference below.
- This is different from Elains brown eyes. Brown eye palette below for reference.
Skin
- Gwyn is described to having freckles . This can vary based on the attire being represented . Make up exists so just because you don’t see freckles doesn’t automatically mean its not Gwyn , use your brain and your eyes look for eye colour and hair colour or invoking stone . Just common sense basically.
- Elain most certainly does not have freckles.
Now, the whole idea behind this post is to shed some light on how Gwyn is represented in art commissions, please keep in mind the artist is allowed to choose from a wide variation of colours that come under the umbrella of copper brown and teal but none of them spell rich brown and brown eyes.
Have some basic decency and respect for art . I mean I understand certain people in this fandom don’t have any kind of decency right to their basic gene type but behaving with a certain amount dignity and class shouldn’t be that hard.

This art is inspired by a scene that occurs in ACOWAR! It’s actually one of my favorite moments! I just really loved the idea of both Elain and Nesta killing the big villain!
Azriel said “What we think to be our greatest weakness can sometimes be our biggest strength. The most unlikely person can alter the course of history”.
I hate seeing Elain being reduced as insignificant, when she had a crucial part in ending the war, without her stabbing the King neither of our favorite characters would be alive.
This is my own interpretation of Elain moments before Nesta takes TT and decapitates the king! I also thought about including the shadows she stepped from as background. Those at the back forming a more concrete shadow, Azriel as one of the theories is that she used his shadows to winnow.
@jessamyart is once again the incredible artist that created this stunning scene and my partner in crime. I love working with Jess, she always manages to read my mind and create exactly what I envision. So thank you Jess, I will always treasure you for helping me bring this to life. It’s always a pleasure, and I cannot wait to see what comes next!

February last year was a roller coaster of emotions with this two. ACOSF was just released and with it Azriel’s POV chapter that had most of the fandom up in arms. This is my way of honoring those moments. A gift for all of us who received hate for simply enjoying what we love.
Hopefully we’ll see the aftermath of this scene in Elain’s book, as I would love to get her perspective.

She truly is the sweetest person to work with, the way she didn’t just transformed that line to life, she created a work of art.
