From the rooftops of Gotham City to the underbelly of its sewers, here’s the second addition to my “Batman: Monster Hunter” series featuring Killer Croc. Where the first one takes place after the fact and uses a wide angle to capture the breadth of the city background, this one focuses on the tension just before and uses a cropped composition to mimic the closed-in sewer environment.

Let us all really look at Jimmie Fails the fourth. Self-taught historian. Carpenter. Gentle, loving man. A true survivor. Jimmie, how many places have you lived? And if they kicked you out tomorrow, you would still be all those things. You exist beyond these walls, you extend beyond your forefathers. You’re not this house. You are not these walls, you’re not these boards, you’re not this ceiling.
