Last nights screening of Kevin Smith’s “Tusk” is one fucked up awesome flick. When you think it done being fucked up and weird, it’s not. Michael Parks is fantastic as Howard Howe and newcomer Guy Lapointe playing himself is one of the big highlights in the movie. He’s gonna go places. So do yourselves a favor and go see “Tusk” this Friday.
Rating: 9/10.

I bow down to Yorgos Lanthimos… The Killing of a Sacred Deer is one the most original and disturbing films I have ever seen! I absolutely love the creative and fresh storytelling…

Holy shit balls, this film was brilliant. And to think I thought this was some trashy action film from the posters and the trailer.
This has to be one of the greatest mainstream films I’ve ever witnessed in YEARS. I haven’t gotten so emotional over a film in the longest time. Thanks Ezakia, my good friend, for recommending this glorious piece of cinematic art.
Please go and watch this film, if you haven’t. Go and support this absurdian, surrealistic existential comedy sci-fi work of masterful art. People talk about how there isn’t enough “original” films in the mainstream scene(and they’re not far off), but with the existence of films such as this masterpiece, all that can change. You just gotta support, support, support. Give your money to support artists like the Daniels, and we will have grandiose amounts of films like this. And watch it more than once, because I definitely am going back to the theater for a second viewing(and most likely a third).

A poster I did for Robert Eggers film The Lighthouse. I saw it last weekend and had to do something for it, I’m a huge fan of Willem Dafoe and he was amazing in this.
I enjoyed reading up on the symbology and reference to Greek mythology, definitely worth a watch! A24 did it again!
