If you can’t question or challenge something, then you can no longer call it science. Real science can stand up to scrutiny, debate, and anything else that is tossed at it.
Furthermore, questioning the status quo is how new scientific discoveries are made… so all this banning of debate is standing in the way of progress and will hurt future research.
Nothing is ever settled, that is not how science works.

The more I read and learn about this man, the more impressed I am. I don’t agree with Jordan Peterson about everything, but I respect the man for standing up for his own, and ours for that matter, basic rights such as freedom of expression. Mandated speech is censorship, period. We need to have the right to offend if we want to search for truth, and to take away the right to offend limits our ability to seek and find our own truths. That is censorship, and why I agree with the stand Dr. Peterson is taking.

I’m no more afraid of going to hell than I am of being on Santa’s naughty list. Just like dragons, your gods do not exist. Deal with the here and now, and with reality while you still can. Stop wasting your Sundays, and your money on myths that have zero impact on your life.
There are better things to do like spend quality time with the kids, do a little cleaning, watch football with friends and just enjoy life.

If life is so complex that it needed a designer and creator: Then it stands to reason that the designer and creator must also be so complex that it too would require a designer and creator and so on ad infinitum. So the God hypothesis does not simplify anything- it makes it more complex in direct defiance of Occam’s razor.
It is a game that we play.
I know the rules well. But when you come to realise that the game is merely a game, its appeal fades and its folly becomes more apparent.
It is no less brave or more foolhardy to let go and move on, than to continue playing, sweating it out in your arena.
It is a fine and intricate game, but I see your tricks and know your ways. I am both delighted and sickened by it. Both enthralled and repulsed by it. But I am a fair player and a sore loser.
Your game is not for me. Where the rules are yours and never mine. Where my lies are wrong and yours are scripture.
I see through you now. You dance the Waltz, while I make my own merry jig. You speak in circles and move in straight lines. My speech is plain and my movement free, spiralling as a leave in wind.
Your scorn once threw me. Now I smile a knowing smile and laugh with utter glee.
I see you now.
I hope that some day you see it too.
