So, it looks like I won’t be able to be making the friendsim anytime soon due to the fact I have a ton of other projects in the works and adding another would do more harm than good…

Yes, I did pick the name Marlboro Nights because of the Lonely God’s song by the same name. The visual novel mood will be the same as the song; laid back, up beat, with an undertone of chaos.

Tagora Gorjek is bringing in the most cursed 1950′s esque to any and every teal office party potluck. I mean shrimp, egg, battery, and pea gelatin. Jello salads Mayo salads. Perfection salads. The works. They are simultaneously extremely aesthetically pleasing and absolutely horrifying. I personally think teals eat weird shit in general, but even for teals he seems to have “discerning” taste.
He generally dislikes office parties but goes to them for the sake of appearances and of course, establishing dominance over all of his office mates in every way imaginable and that means culinary too. He’s bragging to Mspa Reader about his secret recipe and how he will, again, bring in the nicest thing to the potluck and does not elaborate. He wants to surprise them with his skills and has invited them as his plus one.
They get there and find a variety of weird food, but there, at the center, is an ornate jello molded abomination that he is deeply proud of. Stelsa commends him and says he always puts so much work into his dishes. Tyzias states more doesn’t mean better. Tagora refuses to take criticism from someone who showed up with ready made troll Publix sandwiches. Tegiri ends up bringing East Alternian food he made every time.
Lmao at Mspa Reader eating this in front of him out of politeness and trying to find something nice to say about it. Like what. Wow, I’ve never had anything like this before. I’ve never seen anyone try to mix this many textures together. Just forcing it down and using Tegiri’s food as a palate cleanser afterwards.
Who of you knew I’m a filthy Homestuck (-er? Homestucker?) Yeah me neither I started it back in April and only finished almost everything like a month or so ago.
Anyways I’m already loving Pesterquest! It’s giving me all the Homestuck experience like meta in your meta and crying!
In case you missed it (I don’t think the WP team has much of a Tumblr presence these days, haha) the sequel-of-sorts to Friendsim has been announced! The ride never ends, and now the rollercoaster is taking a nice dive down nostalgia lane with a side course of all the canon-bending horseshit you’ve come to expect from Homestuck. Wait rollercoasters don’t have side courses. Eating food on a rollercoaster is a terrible idea.
oh and for the record: while you won’t NEED to have read/played them to enjoy Pesterquest, it will contain occasional references to/spoilers for Friendsim and the Homestuck Epilogues, so please keep that in mind
