If burnt hair didnt smell so bad for so long I would probably try to shave with fire

Update:
I get why ford has a 5 o clock shadow all the time despite shaving (with fire).
Now, it’s important to note that I did this with an ordinary lighterand not something more consistent like… I don’t know? a torch from an underground passageway? a blowtorch? This was the only use of fire I have access to that I’d also willingly pass over my skin.
That being said - not the closest shave and once the hairs got small enough they stopped catching fire. If I had something better it probably would have done fine.
Also! Fun to note, I was racking my brain for why the smell was so familiar when I was inside washing it - same smell as hair when it’s been chemicallyburned away!
The smell, by the way, is bad. Even with doing it outside and scrubbing with soap and a pumice stone. Also I apparently brought the smell into the house with me despite my best efforts.
So there is a non-zero chance that Ford isn’t bringing that rank smell through the whole house.
It also does look really cool though. Ten times more interesting than a razor blade.
In Conclusion:
Shave with fire isn’t perfect, but could be if you have a good flame. However, you willsmell rank and there is nothing you can do about it to immediately fix that.
Sea Grunkle photo album! *SSIIIIIIIIGGGGHHHH* *cracks fingers, neck and back* OMG it’s DONE, it’s actually done! I’ve been wanting to do another sea grunkle album for a long time and I sketched these out over the course of the past few months and in the past week have been inking, coloring and painting. There’s a ridiculous amount of detail (don’t even know if you’ll be able to zoom in enough to see them, but whatever)

First Halloween here in Vancouver, and the studio where I work encouraged people to come dressed up if they wanted some treats. I was able to put a portal Ford cosplay in a week and a half (mostly spent looking up items at various charity shops and repainting that NERF gun as quickly as I could). A bunch of people recognised the character but most importantly, I managed to confuse people into making them think I was someone else! (my voice gave me away tho). I also met a Wendy, a Dipper and a Mabel and honestly, that was the highlight of the day (two people said I kind of look like George Clooney without my glasses Yeah he wishes he looked like me hurr hurr)
If I have enough money in the next two weeks I will do my best to attend Fanexpo Vancouver with the Wendy and Dipper buddies, but I’m debating whether to wear this Ford version again or bring out Grunkle Stan for that one. We’ll see.
In about an hour I’ll go downtown to attend a “Stranger Things’ themed party, and since everything will be decorated like the Upsidedown I hope to take a couple of nice pictures while the outfit is still in one piece though Lord knows I want to rip off these stupid sideburns they ITCH
TL;DR Had lots of fun being a grumpy man with a huge gun and a trench coat for the day. Hopefully will have a few more pictures soon!

I’m not sure what to do for art for this piece so I just took a picture of the book itself.
I love this page so much. Just… Ford realizing where he went wrong; the folly in his insistence in self-isolation. His biggest flaw to me was always his dismissal of others; his brother especially; people need other people. And it was super cathartic to see him realize that; see him realize how important the people around him really are, and how he shouldn’t take them for granted.
To me, Ford is a guy who buried his self-hate under an ego, and insisted that he was better than everyone else to cover up the fact that he didn’t see himself worthy of other people unlesshe proved himself to be extraordinary. It never occurred to him that others could love him as he was, and because of this, he was quickly dismissive of the ones who did because they’re love just didn’t compute with how he thought of himself. His self-worth issues lead to his arrogance and refusal to consider other people; he had to be the lone hero because he had to prove he deserved to exist. And it’s super nice to see him being ok with simply being.
Also, after all the hurting Stanley put himself through for his brother, seeing him finally get the love he deserved added to the heartwarming. He worked so hard for his brother and was knocked around so often for his efforts. This man more than earned his happy ending, Damnit!
