I really wanted to do all of Stanuary this year but bills and work got in the way. I hurt my back pretty bad again yesterday so I was just laying in bed trying to find a comfy position to doodle on the iPad so I drew Stan because reasons
The triangle started popping up all around the house. It would manifest itself in dark corners and architectural details and patterns in textiles. Knots in the house’s rough hewn beams would stare out at you like eyes. Knots that they didn’t remember being there before.
They found it amusing at first, there was nothing inherently malignant to the shape. Later, Stan would try to eradicate it to no avail. He threw that rug in the entryway out on four different occasions. He burned it once. It somehow found its way back.
Just one million drawings of Youngkle Stan as a boxer, bleeding from the face. Yep. Yep.
Proposed headcanon: Stanford broke his nose in one of his early matches. Stanley referred to the six weeks that followed as “Stanford’s ugly years” as a joke. He couldn’t wear his glasses while it healed, and stopped wearing them as a habit afterwards. He kept boxing into adulthood, though. (Stanley was not a fan.)
I’m playing around with this real dumb headcanon that Stan is actually Grandpa Pines, cause apparently Not What He Seems didn’t have enough feels for me, I gotta fabricate my own over here.
I also like the idea of Stan having a not sure if want [to potentially destroy universe] moment after getting his hands on all of the journals.
Sea Grunkle photo album! *SSIIIIIIIIGGGGHHHH* *cracks fingers, neck and back* OMG it’s DONE, it’s actually done! I’ve been wanting to do another sea grunkle album for a long time and I sketched these out over the course of the past few months and in the past week have been inking, coloring and painting. There’s a ridiculous amount of detail (don’t even know if you’ll be able to zoom in enough to see them, but whatever)

So, I find this scene quite interesting; not only because the scene itself is amazing, but also because Bill offers Stan money, I know it sounds dumb but think about this:
Stan, throughout the show, it’s shown to be obsessed with money, he wants to gain it so badly, no matter if the methods are questionable (remember when he in the 4th episode tried to literally sell his niece to a psychopathic jerk), but here we can see a development. Bill offers him one of the things he loves the most, yet Stan doesn’t accept it, he’s sacrificing his memories, all what he is to protect his family and the ones he loves. Stan is a true hero…
