Its sort of funny, as usual, how time flies.
During the laavan at the gurdwara, just remembering our conversations about it. How it would be, when it would happen, what is written in our kismat. Felt like it was 3 years back, but just realising that flashback I had, of us in the metro, carefree and wondering about life, was 10 years old.
And here you are now, in that red lehnga, mehndi in your hands, starting a new life.

And it finally happened.
That day, we hear about, while growing up, as a young girl. When we will, someday, settle down and get married. Be a part of another family and start our own.
The day, we think about, as becoming a lady. Having a partner we share our life with, joys and sorrows, moments. After being postponed for a year, that wedding under lockdown.

I finished my 2nd year film (will release soon!) and now I have some thoughts for 3rd year :D
Fantasy India? Yes please!
Refined my costume designs for my third year film pitch by drawing them in motion!
Found this really useful in understanding the design of Indian outfits better - I think I’m getting close to a final design!
Made a playlist which basically (and hopefully) has Semi Classical songs that’ll make you feelgood and also have some element of vastness in them (coz these are the songs I would listen to while gazing at some beautiful monument)
Mentioned only Agra, Mathura and Rajasthan coz that’s the places I have been to most recently (in terms of places with beautiful historical monuments)
Also, I LOVE “A suitable boy” ’s cinematography, background music, aesthetics and of course TANYA MANIKTALA❤
