Stay A While and Get To Know Our Stomping Grounds
Originally founded in the name of the Queen, New England has a storied history stretching back centuries. While many only know what N.E. stands for from watching the past 15 years of superior performances in the NFL, the six states that comprise the region have contributed immensely to the nation’s progress.
Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut and yes, Massachusetts are the names of the splendid six that define this portion of the country.
Whether you think of the original colonists who landed at Plymouth Rock, Roger Williams and religious freedom; progressive movements in the 19th/20th centuries, the presidential primaries in New Hampshire or the rise of legislation that led to Obamacare, you won’t find a shorter Wikipedia page
Ever resilient against the British, racial strife, the intense extremes of old money and new poverty and even terror attacks, these these lands are rich with the blood, sweat and tears of a strong people.
“I didn’t have to choose, New England; I could’ve chose other states, anywhere I wanted,” says AMD Entertainment CEO, Annmarie Debrito.
“I choose New England because I feel the world doesn’t know how beautiful New England really is and showcase all the amazing things we have to offer.”
With primary filming locations scouted in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut, Debrito says there’s many possible landmarks to showcase in both states and the commonwealth.
While we can’t necessarily give specific, cross-street level information out to the public, we will be showcasing very popular icons familiar to many in the region.
Whether in the soft snow of the winter or the wild waves of summer beaches, you can rest well knowing a proper representation of the environment is in store.
While the AMD Candi is busy with All-Star Weekend, securing events four months down the line, finishing photoshoots and working on the post-production of music videos, CEO Annmarie Debrito has been fastidiously working for her next big venture: reality television. While AMD Candi remains a separate entity from the show, stay tuned to our social links for some major news to drop very soon.
No stranger to ambition, Debrito admits she may have let the cat out of the bag a bit too early. Typically, the reality show process from an idea written on a napkin to setting your DVR to record takes about a fewyears. But the good news is, the team is actively finalizing cast members and will soon start filming this in warmer temperatures this Summer. As a Rhode Island native, Debrito plans to showcase the beauty of the state including Newport, Providence, and Jamestown, the home of the stars, with much of New England to be shown as well.
I met with Annmarie to ask some user-generated questions to which she enthusiastically replied:
Have you gotten much or any support?
Annmarie Debrito: Absolutely, the networks have been great and given me the support I need. Business owners in RI, have also given me tons of support, along with those very close to me. Its not about the quantity, but more about the quality of supporters. This I have most definitely learned. But, most importantly I have GOD and that’s what matters to me.

Whysotight-lipped?
Annmarie Debrito: Obviously, with any concept and project you have to be tight-lipped because you sign a non-disclosure agreement and to create anticipation.
What CAN you tell us?
Annmarie Debrito: I am so excited and proud of this project. It will showcase a very high-spirited cast and director who will be sharing an amazing story. The show is going to be so fabulous and it will be shot in RHODE ISLAND, my home state. This is something so unlike anything ever done in Rhode Island and I can’t be more delighted.
Is the show local to Providence too?
Annmarie Debrito: Yes, the main shooting locations will be in Rhode Island, but I will also be shooting in Massachusetts and Connecticut. It will most definitely capture New England.
What show is it similar to?
Annmarie Debrito: With reality shows, they all share the same outcome which Is letting you into the actors personal lives and showing who they are. As far as the storyline there isn’t anything like that out there.
What’s new about your project?
Annmarie Debrito: We just signed the contract for the home that we will be shooting at in Jamestown, which is very exciting.
Why this network?
Annmarie Debrito: I went with this network, because I thought it was the best fit for the content of my show. It was between 2 networks and I went with the one I found most fit.
When are you filming?
Annmarie Debrito: If casting, goes well and I find the right ladies then we will begin this summer. I am not in a rush. This has to be right. The cast has to be perfect. I’m not just looking to have 1 season. I want seasons after seasons.
When does it air?
Annmarie Debrito: That I do not control. Once filming is complete the network chooses what day, time slot, and season they air the show.
Can I be apart of it?
Annmarie Debrito: Absolutely, we will be announcing when we will need extras for different seasons. Just follow us on IG, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and stay connected through our newsletters.
How can we promote?
Annmarie Debrito: You can promote by word of mouth, and through your social sites. This is very exciting for the State of Rhode Island.
How should we stay tuned?
