Coding Cabin may have been a bit inactive lately but it hasn’t been forgotten.
In fact, we’re here with exciting news to every one of you in the extended Tumblr community interested in starting your coding and web design path here.
We’re happy to announce that our requirement of having at least one theme released has been lifted. This means that we’re now accepting members who haven’t released any codes yet but who are working on it.
What you have to do to join? Simply send us a message and we’ll send you a link to join the server!
The catch? (There’s always one…) You will have access to Coding Cabin’s general chat plus to all our coding support channels, however, you will only be granted access to the whole server once you release a code!
For those who don’t know, Coding Cabin’s server is not a cabin - it’s a city! You’ll be welcomed into our very own Starbucks and into our Art School. Release your first code and unlock all routes to the rest of the city!

I’m busy wrangling my kids and trying to get them out of my hair for long enough to write. I’m gonna have to start waking up early to bypass the neediness.
We still have some slots open in our writing group if anyone needs some buddies! Got several fanfic writers from different genres as well as a fantasy writer and we’re all lovely conversationalists.
Oh look I’m not dead!! So my roommates and I have started a Hentai Discord that we’re totally down to share it! It would be subscription based and there would be tiers depending on how much or how little access you wanted. I’m still working on specifics so message me with any questions :)

The “general” one allows people to see (and probably post) directly into 4 channels, but you don’t get to choose as it’s simply the ones that are already open). They are: ancient egypt themed hentai, the miscellaneous category, the ecchi tag, and one dedicated to girls in one piece bathing suits. (** miscellaneous pictures must be sent to me because they will be deleted if you use this category to post pictures that belong in other categories you haven’t purchased**)
The first two tiers have no ability to post directly to the room, but I, or one of the other admins will have a DM going with you where you can send us pictures you wish to submit so we can give them the okay and put them in their respective room.
Tier 3 is basic moderator powers, the ability to post in every channel at will, mod powers in chat, and a direct DM to the admins and myself
Tier 4 is more of a meme because I don’t really wanna give out admin powers to people that I don’t fully trust yet, but if someone wants to troll me that badly that they don’t wanna take the time to build up a friendship, then damn if I’m gonna make something off it.
All of the channels are full of pictures as we’ve been running this discord for almost 6 months now. We will also always be taking submissions for new channels, and the ones that get approved, the person who suggested it will get free access to said room.
The theme of the ninth Object Head Zine is “HISTORICAL FICTION”.
Whether you’re swashbuckling against pirates on the high seas, flirting with a shy noble across the royal court, or partying up at the busiest speakeasy - history awaits you in the new Object Head Zine! This topic is a little open ended: so long as your object head is historically accurate to the time period, it can be whatever you like!
This book will feature 25 people I’ve selected, plus 35 open slots available to the public for a total of 60 participants! This year’s zine is a PAID OPPORTUNITY of $100 USD per page (an increase from previous years!). Participants will be paid as soon as they complete their piece (give or take a week for PayPal to transfer funds). There will be a pre-order sale to cover the costs of printing and shipping.
Illustration-quality works in either digital or traditional mediums. Both colour and b/w acceptable; background required. *BG can be as simple as a pattern or colour block!
6”x9”, 300 DPI illustrations with a 1/8th inch bleed (FINAL DIMENSIONS SHOULD BE 6.25” x 9.25”) Works must be in CMYK, and in a vertical format only.
At least one (1) work in progress picture should be sent in with your final illustration.
For consistency’s sake, keep faces to a minimum (You can have eye(s) or you can have mouth(s) but don’t have both in a humanoid arrangement.)
Original characters only (yours or your friends’).
You can include humans or other creatures, as long as there’s a 1:1 object head to non-object head/human ratio.
This book is for all ages. PG-13 content at the most! Cartoon violence and blood are acceptable, but realistic gore is NOT. Use your common sense. If you’re unsure, run the idea by me.
Depictions of war, fighting, and/or violence are acceptable but please be aware of the usage of symbols in your work. Do not have any usage of hate symbols, associated flags, slogans, greetings, or uniforms. Use your common sense. Any depictions of this will be given a one time warning to remove the offending part of piece. Any refusal or argument against this will remove you from the zine completely.
Do not have the Red Cross, the Red Crystal or the Red Crescent symbol in your piece. Usage of this symbol is legislated by the Geneva Conventions Act, the Trade Marks Act and the Canadian Red Cross Society Act. Any usage of this symbol will be asked to be edited to remove it.
Please put in the proper research when illustrating your historical period, especially if you’re drawing from a culture that isn’t your own. Mistakes are inevitable, even when working within our own cultures and while 100% accuracy isn’t necessary or required, we want to be respectful to the cultures we’re depicting.
Completed illustrations must be sent as a flattened psd or tiff file
There are only 10 slots for comics available due to page count space so if you apply for a comic space, and you are selected, you may not be picked for comics but instead illustration!
