embitch:

Okay, so I have two books I need help finding that used to be my favorites when I was younger, but I remember very little about them.

The first one was a scholastic book I think, it was about this girl who was at her grandma’s house I think? There was something about keys, and there were these fairies that she could see. but they weren’t nice faries, they were evil and mischievous, and they were like going after her or something.

The second book was about this orphan girl, and she would sneak like over the wall around it after school and stuff and go into the woods. In the woods was this little old cottage that she would fix up and maintain in the spare time. I think she got adopted by like a rich family and stuff, and was sick at some point, but that might have been a separate book.

Sorry for how vague this is.

The second one is Mandy by Julie Andrews.
