she always wanted a Signless for herself and now she got one

Kankri probably watched everything go down while clutched in the throes of raw envy and studiously cultivated disapproval.
So, one week later and the Kankri picture is still getting a steady flow notes. I had no idea he was so popular. Some of my favorite responses in no particular order were:
- “whY WOULD YOU DO THAT”
- “NO”
- “nono, its ok i didnt need to have a good day, *gross sobbing*”
- “THIS IS NOT OKAY”
- “WHY WAS I GIVEN EMOTIONS”
- “oh”
- “That’s right kankri, be all alone, that’s what you get for not shutting up for five fucking minutes”
- That one person who meticulously tagged everyone in the picture except Kankri. That was a riot.

Since the humans have at last made their appearance in C&V, I’m going to go ahead and post certain background information here. I’m not sure whether or not I’ll be able to drop this info into the content of the fic itself, so supplemental material it is.
Side note: The races I chose for this story don’t always match my default humanstuck headcanons… and no one is mixed race because I got lazy; I’m sorry. OTL
