I’m back from my completely accidental mini-hiatus with more wings. Mobius is based on a mourning dove and Loki a great cormorant.

After years of chasing a gang of outlaws, Bucky and Steve decide to kidnap one Anthony “The Iron Man” Stark to force him to help them end the gang’s reign of terror. But as captives go, Stark is not what Bucky expected, nor is his reaction to him…

“Are you sure that’s him?” Bucky asked, and instead of answering Steve passed the binoculars over for Bucky to take a look for himself. As he looked through the lenses, he had to say that the guy certainly matched the description they’d been given, based on what he could tell from this far away. He couldn’t see if the man had dark hair and eyes because of his broad-brimmed hat, but he had the dark gold and auburn barred wings and fancy embroidered vest they’d been told to look for as well as the smart little black and white paint that had been described by the witnesses.
“If it’s not, the worst thing we’ll have to do is apologize,“ Steve said. “He’ll be in position in a few minutes, so get ready.” Handing the binoculars back, Bucky wormed his way away from the cliff edge and made his way carefully to the far end of the butte they were on. The plan was that Steve would take off from the south end of the butte and Bucky from the north, with the intention to trap the man between them, hopefully pinning him down before he had a chance to take flight. It wasn’t a complex plan, but they figured it didn’t have to be; from what they’d heard he was just a slick-winged greenhorn from back east that liked to talk, drink, and gamble, in that order. Steve and Bucky had just spent three years fighting Johnny Reb and two more tracking down outlaws, so this man wasn’t going to be a problem. If he was smart, he’d tell them what they wanted to know about his employers then he could go on his merry way without even dirtying up that expensive vest he was wearing.
Bucky peeked over the edge of the cliff to check the man’s position, and as the man’s horse ambled into the ambush point he launched himself off the cliff, spreading his wings out to glide as silently as possible down to the road below. “Stop right there,” he shouted when he was close enough. “We have you surrounded.”

More wing practice, this time with kokichi
In this au it’s rare to have wings, but it’s even rarer to have wings that can actually fly.
Since everyone in Hpa is an ultimate student, they do all have wings. But most of them are flightless.
Kokichi will tell you he can fly (he cannot) and will try to “prove” it by saying you should let him carry you.
Do not agree. He will immediately drop you and laugh at you for being an idiot.
Wing AU Logan
As the sides singular braincell, Logan’s wings are based off the Grey Parrot, one of the world’s smartest birds. The more rectangular and boxy shape of his wings combined with the monochrome colour scheme lend well to his serious nature. They are also very broad and powerful, and he is very careful to avoid knocking things over with his wings.

I wanted to make sure that every single drawing for this au was not only accurate in general but accurate to the specific birds I based them off of! Plus I just… really like drawing wings.

Wing AU Logan

They are also very broad and powerful, and he is very careful to avoid knocking things over with his wings.

Wing AU Patton
The heart of the group, his wings are based on the blue Lovebird! Their smaller and daintier wings, with their soft blues and greys, are befitting of his kind and gentle demeanour. He loves to give hugs with his wings, and is also very expressive with them, fluttering them when he’s happy and poofing them out when he’s scared or surprised.

Wing AU Roman
The first ‘Light side’, Roman’s wings are based of the Brahminy Kite. The colouring, as well as the general shape and flair, have the right drama and style suited for Roman. He has a tendency to gesture with his wings as he talks just as he does with his hands, and they can be used as a good indicator of how he’s feeling.

Wing AU Remus
His wings are unique from all the other sides in that they seem to be a fusion of the more feathered wings of the ‘Lights’ and the leathery of the ‘Darks’. This occurred because of the split. When there was only one Creativity he was considered a ‘Light’, but upon splitting Remus was immediately reassigned to ‘Dark’. This unnatural change caused his wings to appear the way they do.
Although this image isn’t coloured, the feathered part of his wings are based off the Plumbeous Kite.

Wing AU Time!!!
First we have Janus! Like the rest of the ‘Dark sides’ his wings are leathery instead of feathered like the ‘Light sides’. Although his wings are more draconic compared to Virgil’s batlike wings.

so i was looking through some of my old posts and came to the shocking conclusion that despite posting some virgil’s for my wing au, i never actually posted the rest of the sides (despite having made drawings for all of them).
i was wondering if, despite it having been so long, if anyone wants the rest of the winged sides from that au? probably including a massive tag ramble because that au is so overcomplicated for what it is dskgdkfg-
wing aus my Beloved. i am not immune to wing aus.
specifically in this instance, @manchasama ‘s wing au. i have not been able to stop thinking about that….
anyway. i enjoy seeing the kind and polite ingo lookin mega spooky, what can i say
