Turning Red
Some time ago I had a dream where I was feeling really bad, and was just seat in a corner while ugly crying when Freddie Mercury in his yellow shirt and blue jeans came to me and whipped the tears out of my cheeks with a soft smile on his face. Then I asked him:
+ Am I a monster?
And he told me (using Lady Gaga’s slow voice):
- No my darling, not a monster, but a best. (Then playfully “grrr” at me) And only white people are afraid of beasts, people of color respect them and live in communion with them. It is up to you to choose how you want to live up your beast.
Anyway, this part of the movie made me very happy because it reminds me of my dreamed Freddie Gaga
Thank you “Turning Red” for the “able to be vulnerable with her friends way more than her overbearing mom” girl representation I didn’t know I needed
Finally- some decent Turning Red fanart from me.
More to come, probably!
It’s been more than one year since my last Beyblade’s post
(please Beyblade fandom, be alive)
Turning Red was really cute
from the wip: tattoo parlour & flower shop au. makingthis one with @hakucho-art <3 this scene was so fun to write for. lmao, yuuji going ??? while Mei and Tsukumo flirt and check each other out.
“We’re also a bit special.” The customer adds, cryptically. He doesn’t think it’s just a ploy to get him to visit. There’s something about their expression that tells him so.
“Is that so?” Another voice comes.
Yuuji startles. Wow, he’s really been off his game, he’s thinking as he turns — “Boss?!” He shouts. He did not expect this. When did she come? How long has she been there? There was no notification that she was going to come in today. Damn it.
Mei ignores him, and stares up at the customer. He knows that look in her eyes. It’s when she thinks that she sees something that is money. He’s a bit wary since he particularly likes this customer and doesn’t want to end with another incident. Mei…can become unorthodox when it comes to money.
There’s nothing for him to do. Mei doesn’t listen to anyone. She does as she likes, and you do not stop her.
“Yeah.” The customer says. “If you’re curious, you can check it yourself.”
Mei chuckles and draws up closer to the customer. They have a weird moment where they stare into each other’s eyes. He has no clue on what’s going on. Is this some kind of code-talk? Yuuji stands awkwardly on the side, unsure of himself. Is he supposed to interrupt? How long are they gonna stand there?
Luckily, it’s not long. “I think I might.” Mei says, a hint of purr in her voice.
Just a quick reminder that I don’t hate Turning Red and it’s fans, this is just a joke that isn’t supposed to be taken seriously
It’s me right now, cause I still haven’t seen Turning Red, and I need to see it, I’m really lost with all this posts about it
