MINIMAL WEEKLY PLANNER | undated planner printable

2020 is just around the corner, start planning your weeks with this printable!   15% OFF with the code MIYAS44

GET IT HERE

This is the weekly planner I’ll be using next year for uni! I’ll print them out and use a a5 binder… I’ll post photos of the final results soon!

I know I have been on a hiatus but that’s because I’m working on a design project! I’ll (hopefully) be attending uni in 2020 so I’ll open up a online shop (with cute printables, illustrations, planners) in other to support myself (uni is expensive, yall)

What would you like to see in my shop? Some language planners? Student ones? Let me know!

29.11.19

Today’s my last day of high school and I managed to go through it without crying (pretty proud of myself). That is, until the principal put the ‘High School Musical Soundtrack’ on the hallways.

send help, please

I know I’ve been inactive for the past few months but my life has been so busy! By the end of november I’ll have graduate high school (oh my gods)

Anyway, this week I’m supposed to take the DELE (Spanish proficiency exam) and I’m so nervous! I have never taken any kind of proficiency exam before, but I have been studying like crazy!

Also, if you’re a hispanohablante and are available to help me practice my Spanish (through email, skype, etc), my inbox is open! I’ll appreciate any support you guys can give me!

Hey guys, long time no see!

I’m really sorry for my unannounced two month long hiatus but I’d just like to announce that I’m officially back and ready to start posting again! I’m also excited to announce that in November this year I will be going to Japan for a two week holiday with my boyfriend! So if you have any questions or requests for posts you’d like to see or just a general question to ask, feel free to submit them!

Below the line I’m going to expand a little on my absence!

So if you’ve been following my blog for a while you might remember that in November 2017 I graduated from my Bachelor’s Degree and then began studying a Graduate Certificate in TESOL which I graduated from in June 2018. Since graduating I went to countless job interviews and applied for probably over 100 jobs but to no avail. I didn’t have enough job experience, I didn’t have recent enough referees, I just wasn’t the right fit for the job. This took a huge toll on my mental and physical health. I didn’t have any other plans for my life but becoming an ESL teacher and I was continuously being told over and over again that I couldn’t be one. Over the year I gained about 15kgs from the stress which resulted in me emotionally binge eating. Since I wasn’t working or studying anymore I barely left the house so I wasn’t as active as I used to be. I pretty much lost motivation to do most things, which included feeling unmotivated to continue posting on this blog or studying Japanese anymore. I didn’t really see a point…

But in December 2018 I thankfully managed to pick up a casual cashier job. It’s definitely not what I was expecting to do after university, but I’m so thankful for my job. The forced socialisation and interactions with my coworkers and customers as well as having a routine and schedule to follow again has been wonderful for my mental health. I’m finally feeling motivated about my life again.

I also joined a gym in January and have been slowly starting my weightloss journey! It’s going to be a long and slow process for me as I have to try and retrain my thoughts and break my unhealthy food habits, but I’m ready for the challenge and don’t want to quit.

I definitely don’t want to do this job forever, but because of it I’ve been able to save up and am travelling to Japan in November this year! I’m also moving out of my current apartment which I hate into hopefully a better and cheaper one in May with my boyfriend, and we’re planning on getting our first pet together! I have so many things to look forward to and be excited about again.

Because I’m travelling to Japan this year I have reason and motivation to study Japanese again, which is why I’m looking forward to posting on this blog again and interacting with you guys (if any of you are still reading this haha). I also intend to looking into volunteer opportunities to gain further job experience, as well as possibly doing my Masters in the education field at university.

I missed you guys and I’m really excited to start studying together again!

i just wanted to wish luck and send some positive vibes towards those of you who might be sitting your final exams, doing the finishing touches on your final assessment pieces, applying for schools, or waiting to find out your results! you guys have got this and you’re gonna be just fine ♡

My second video!

In it I tried to do an entire video speaking in French!

If I went back and did it again I wish that I had written a script in French or atleast given myself a topic to speak on before hand!

For some reason I thought pointing a camera at myself and just starting to talk would work but it was still a fun video either way!
