31/5/2020 I have an exam this Tuesday, but I notice that I am getting less and less motivated now that the college year is almost over. I am trying to read over my notes several times a day, with the hope that some things will stick in my brain. 

31/5/2020 I took this picture last week, while I was making the final changes to my thesis. The past few months were nothing like I expected them to be, but I still managed to finish my thesis as planned. It was fun, but I am also very happy that I am done with it now!

27/03/2020 Currently getting through self isolation pretty well. There are good and bad days, but I am trying to focus as much as possible on my work and studies, while also keeping in mind that taking breaks is important. I am currently working on a paper about how smartphones are used to track and limit the spreading of COVID-19, which is quite interesting.

15/03/2020 For at least the next three weeks my country is closed off. I don’t have to go to university, and schools, restaurants, gyms and bars are closed. There will probably be more measures soon. It definitely is an uncertain time, but I can stay in, do my work, read a lot of books and finally start writing again. I would prefer to see my friends at this moment and be able to actually start my new job at university tomorrow instead of having to work from home, but this is the situation now and I feel like we all just need to accept it. Make the best out of it, stay safe, and know that my inbox is always open if you want to have a chat!

25/01/2020 After two months of no classes, having time to work on my thesis and being able to go to conferences and do other great things, it is time to start college again. The prospect of learning new things and being around my friends again every day makes me feel very happy!

27/09/2019 I am not the biggest fan of all the traveling that I need to do in order to get to college, but on days like today it really is not that bad, sitting in the sun and reading my book while waiting for my next train to come.

21/01/2021 It is a fairly hectic week, but thankfully I am getting quite a bit of work done!

16/01/2021 I started a course in French. I had some classes in high school, but now I want to learn it properly. So far I have really enjoyed it, I finally have a reason to make flash cards again! I’m also trying to get through my TBR pile, but it is quite difficult because I keep buying new books… At least I still have plenty of books to read. Happy weekend!

13/01/2021 Making the final changes to my thesis proposal. My motivation has been fairly non-existent the past few days, but I still try to do a little bit of work every day!

03/01/2021 Happy New Year! I have no classes in the upcoming month, so I will be spending my time doing research for my thesis and reading books. I am mostly excited to finally write my thesis proposal after doing research for the past few months, it seems like the hard work is finally paying off!

04/12/2020 My exams are starting next week, so I am working hard to understand everything that I need to know for all my courses. I’m already looking forward to when this exam period is over, so that I can properly enjoy reading books and working on my thesis. To all the other studyblrs with their exams coming up: good luck!

03/11/2020 The upcoming few weeks I will be attending the virtual IGF, while also trying to keep up with my studies. It will be a crazy time, but also incredibly inspiring! I think I will learn a lot during the next few weeks. 

07/10/2020 It has been a little bit more than a month since I have started my studies in international law and global governance, and I am enjoying it a lot! It definitely is hard work, but that is worth it.

14/9/2020 The start of a new week! I am happy that I am able to take a day off after a busy weekend and before the start of a busy new week. Now I am ready for it!

07/09/2020 My first week back in college went fairly well. I definitely had to get used to all the Zoom meetings, but I am glad that I am able to ask questions to my professors again during the lectures!

01/09/2020 College started today. All my classes are online, which means that I can listen to records and read books before my lectures start! 

13/07/2020 I have been quiet on here for quite a while, but I have graduated! I am currently enjoying some time off before I start my second masters in International Law and Global Governance. The past year has been absolutely insane and not quite like I had expected, but I look back at it quite happily. However, I am really glad to have some time to read books now.
