SADNESS 

we pretend to be fine

we pretend to have fun

we pretend to live in the moment

but in reality we push it away

we push away the sadness

we hide it in the shadows

until we’re alone

and them we can’t push it away 

we can’t hide it anymore

some sleep it away

some drink it away

some smoke it away

but in the end it becomes too much

until either we end it ourselves

or someone ends it for us
