I’m always afraid of public sharing art during the “oh no god no” stage, but yeah, please have this WIP of a super self-indulgent piece of mine. It’s a lil bit out of my beloved comfort zone, just at that sweet spot between challengingandfun.The subject helps of course. I just love these two self-righteous bastards so much. Don’t give me a chance to talk about them, I’ll not shut up.
A little life update: I graduated college, started a new playthrough of The Witcher 3, went back to painting again and today I put on braces so my mouth feels weird. I’m also a few weeks away from my birthday and the fact that I haven’t been transformed into an undead bloodsucking creature is unacceptable.
Anyway, I’ll return to my painting and hopefully have it done soon. To the people that keep following this blog, thank you. I have no idea why you are here but I appreciate it a lot. Please remember to drink water and be safe, folks <3

Take a good look: this is the black hole at the center of our galaxy.
In the inset image, gas in the glowing orange ring surrounds the black hole’s event horizon, a boundary from which nothing can escape. The ring is created by light bending in the intense gravity around Sagittarius A*, which has a mass some four million times greater than our Sun. This groundbreaking image of Sagittarius A* was taken by the Event Horizon Telescope team with data from telescopes around the world. After the EHT’s iconic image of M87*, released in 2019, this is only the second time a supermassive black hole has been directly observed with its shadow.
The wider look at the space around Sagittarius A* includes data contributed by several NASA missions. The orange specks and purple tendrils were captured in infrared light by the Hubble Space Telescope, and the blue clouds represent data from our orbiting Chandra X-ray Observatory.

Explanation:There’s a black hole at the center of the Milky Way. Stars are observed to orbit a very massive and compact object there known as Sgr A* (say “sadge-ay-star”). But this just released radio image (inset) from planet Earth’s Event Horizon Telescope is the first direct evidence of the Milky Way’s central black hole. As predicted by Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity, the four million solar mass black hole’s strong gravity is bending light and creating a shadow-like dark central region surrounded by a bright ring-like structure. Supporting observations made by space-based telescopes and ground-based observatories provide a wider view of the galactic center’s dynamic environment and an important context for the Event Horizon Telescope’s black hole image. The main panel image shows the X-ray data from Chandra and infrared data from Hubble. While the main panel is about 7-light years across, the Event Horizon Telescope inset image itself spans a mere 10 light-minutes at the center of our galaxy, some 27,000 light-years away.

She’s quite aware of his presence against her, too, her senses heightened by the battle they just fought. She tries not to let it take over, tries to focus on her breathing as she leans heavily upon the fallen machine…but Kotallo’s breath is heavy, too, just as ragged, and it rushes in and out, so close to her ear.
She’s well acquainted with how fast this man can move, as proven many times in the last few minutes. Which means that he’s choosingto remain where he is, his hand still gripping the handle of his blade, pinned to her back, breathing against her skin, a thought that makes her shiver as much as the sheer feel of him.
She doesn’t consciously start leaning back, but she doesn’t stop herself either when she realizes she’s doing it, seeking more of him. She’s rewarded when his breath shifts, much closer to her neck. When warm air from his lungs pools upon her skin, the ensuing shiver that shoots down her spine is electric, her insides stirring, just like the other night when he’d held on to her and drank from her lips.

You’ll never guess who came to visit me this weekend!
We had such a wonderful time wandering around downtown and watching movies and talking! Maplevogel even cooked a meal for me! And put up with my diabolical black cats! (Who were very excited that I brought them a new friend to play with.) She accepted my awful dancing and mess of curls with a certain amount of grace.
