Long time no see, huh? I’ve been around here, though definitely less often than I used to. If anyone ever wants to chat, I’m pretty active on the maxismatchccworld discord! We have a build challenge up right now to win a copy of Cottage Living, if anyone is interested!
ANYWAY! To get to the point of this post, I’ve updated 67 hairs to have the 6 added new colors! You can find all the updated hairs on my cc downloads page. I’ve remade the packages for all hairs, so please be aware that any recolors (or mesh edits that use my old packages as a base) won’t work anymore!
Praise be to @aharris00britney for their PS gradient to help recolor the hairs that had a more difficult texture For real, I probably wouldn’t have updated most of my hairs if it wasn’t for them, so a BIG THANK YOU to Austin!!

I’m really excited to get these made into Enamel! I’ve already printed them out as stickers, but enamel was always the plan from the get go. And now that conventions have slowed down again, I have time to focus on a kickstarter!
All of them will have a nickle border, and be 2 inches tall! I’ve worked with this company before with all my previous enamel pins, and I’m so excited to reveal these bad boys!

Though the preview doesn’t show it, there are some early bird tiers that get you them cheaper then normal, which are pretty limited. So if you want to jump in quick, thats how you’ll get a nice discount!
Originally the Polaroid pin will be the only one available, but I have some stretch goals to get all the other ones! Judging from past kickstarters, I don’t think it’ll be a problem to get all the designs funded, so if you see a favorite, you’ll probably be able to get it!

ok so ive been thinking how to put this into words for the last couple of weeks so um here it goes
the sims has been a game i’ve been playing for years now and i tried to make things better for myself and for others by sharing cc i’ve been learning how to make for the last couple of years but it came to a point it doesn’t bring me joy anymore.
Not only thinking about making cc brings me anxiety but i’ve been feeling the contant feel like EA doesn’t care for the players anymore and it honestly made me lose interest for that game at all.
I thought my last straw was Eco Lifestyle but when i saw the trailer for the new knitting SP i was really disappointed and honestly i felt disrespected as a player in so many ways i dont care to explain honestly. Im fully aware im not a consumer of this company because i play a cracked game. (i HONESTLY dont need to give explanations for this,,,,, but i live in a 3rd word country that buying the sims as i have it cracked it costs me more than 30k pesos) but i still have rights as a player and a custom content creator to demand a better game not only for my experience but for everyone’s too.
So anyways, i’ve never thought i would archive almost 15k followers in such a short amount of time and im grateful for every one of you, for sticking up with me while i was still learning how to make cc and textures, for reblogging, liking and using my stuff and interacting with me in any way.
I honestly will be forever grateful.
Im not deletig my blog because i still hold on to a little bit of hope that the sims franchise would spark that excitement i had for it before, and for you to have the platform open if you want to keep downloading my cc.
I have rebooted my pc and uninstalled the sims, my mods, my cc, my tray files and my saves. I have deleted every wip, every edit, every done piece of cc. I honestly don’t want nothing to do with the sims anymore and its probably for the best of my mental health right now.
Honestly thank you so much for letting me be a part of this wonderful community even in its ups and downs. I hope you can still enjoy the game as much as i used to.
Feel free to use my cc and my meshes for anything honestly (not reuploading tho, thats not nice) i wont be using them anymore.
I might come back, i might be still posting ocassionally shitposting, who knows. This blog and my cc blog will still be open as well as my ask box.

I’ve since recently moved from New Zealand to Australia to live permanently and have still been settling in, I hope everyone is doing well with the whole end of the world deal!
I remember when I was 21 and finishing my undergrad and living at home and being, like, ULTRA depressed, without knowing to call it that, and believing that if I could just Be Somewhere Else I’d be happy.
I did go somewhere else. I can’t remember if it made me happy. I maybe didn’t go far enough, or stay gone long enough. I’m willing to believe that the problem is not one I can leave in a physical location. I know that. Intellectually.
But now I’m 44 and it’s not so much that I think my happiness is waiting for me somewhere else, just that it’s hard to imagine that I could ever have it here.
Well, yeah, the unhelpful kind of folks who say things like “bloom where you’re planted ” or “wherever you go, you take yourself with you” … gag me.
If the scenery around you is boring, is draining, is non-nourishing to you, requires a set of skills or a sort of toughness to cope with that you do not have – you can be happier somewhere else. And by scenery, I don’t just mean rocks and plants, I mean your neighbors, the priorities of your city council, the ambience of the nearest saloon, the smell from the factory on the outskirts of town. If you move, you sure can’t guarantee that you will like your new neighbors but you sure can choose a neighborhood that is (statistically) more likely to be compatible, colorful, noisy, quiet, whatever. And you sure as hell can swap oil refinery smell for tomato cannery smell.
Even if that new somewhere comes with its own set of problems: if nothing else comes of moving, at least you can shake off one specific misery: the misery of feeling stuck.
Maybe not Happy with a capital H, but happier at least.
Happy new year! I’m surprised with what I’ve managed to accomplish this year given the messed up state of literally everything. This sounds very lame and cliche but I appreciate y’all so much. I’m so so so happy that I’ve gotten to be friends with some of you. It’s been hella rough but I wish everyone the best and please stay safe :)
