I think at chapter 27 Sangwoo was reliving what he had done after his mother comitted suicide. He was gonna kill Bum with a baseball bat then amount of blood spreading made him remember his mother then he decided to save him.
The things I’d do to find mangas/stories with gay couples doing normal things and living their lives that aren’t focussed on the “seme” and the “uke” or have like 0 development regularly.
Like I want a comic where a gay couple work their ways through the struggles of parenthood.
Give me a reincarnation villain manwha where the MC isn’t interested in men but falls in love anyways.
Provide me with lesbians who fight crime while just happening to be lesbians.
Give me the queer representation my little asexual heart needs.
Loving the twin siblings new life, I have been reading it since chapter 3 cane out, I do not know if it was originally a novel but- I just have one tiny issue with it.
I really wish we got more of adrens character, it seemed like at the beginning arjen and adren mostly had split screentime and development. We learned about both of them and saw little bits of their personality florish.
Its rare we get two main characters and I was interested to see what type of dynamic this would bring. And how things would differ between the characters. But as the chapters moved on the focus seemed to shift to Ariren.
Which- fair enough. Understandable since a majority of the target audience for isekis are girls.
But I found that the manwha started off as something interesting and new. But ended up moving into a clique. I was hoping to see something more expansive with both of them. Insted of it just turing into- Ariren being an op main character who’s a rare forest creature. Also has extremely powerful magic and is effortlessly kind and beautiful like every other protagonist out there. Who happens to be the only princess of her kingdom.
I thought it would be she balances ardrens flaws and he balances hers.
As at the beginning it seemed to be hinted at that adren was the more sensitive of the two but holds up a cold front. While Arjen was the protector of the two who had a meek like apperance.
I was supprised when we stopped getting emotional moments with ardren as he started to blend into the background. Only appearing when it was reverent to arjens storyline
It just had so much potential.
That isn’t to say that the manwha isn’t good, it is and I stay up to date with it and enjoy the story. Its probualy just my bias agaisnt big reverse harrems that have nothing to do with the plot happening. But I do enjoy the story.
This is judt my opion on some things I thought it was lacking
Sangwoo is the step child…in this latest chapter I can’t help but think when Woo talks to the dying woman about her “nuisance” step child he’s really talking about HIMSELF. As a child, since he sees the woman as his own mother, it would only make sense.
Adding on to that the flashbacks to his mother coming at him with a knife. Maybe she’s saying something like “if only you weren’t born!!” Typical abusive manga/anime/manwha mommy saying. Now this begs the question is he the abused wives child? Or the abusive step fathers child? It can honeslty go both ways.
