I think what made the Maze Tales from the SMP so fascinating was how a ton of it was a nod to different popular movies and tv shows, along with previous tales episodes.
It was also the idea that no matter what happens they kept going back to the beginning until they found the “cracks” in the maze. The way we saw the loop by seeing the first message on the tv again at the end. It added a whole other layer to the episode.
I can’t explain the feeling of ghostbur being mentioned again in canon but I have never felt more pain. Since his death, everyone has just kind of moved on. But c!wilbur wanted to apologize to friend for him because ghostbur was still his own person and he was still hurt when c!wilbur was revived, even if they are technically the same person.

It genuinely was so well made, and everyone who was in the video did such an amazing. The plot was well written and it was genuinely really enjoyable to watch.
