#miscarriage
Look, it’s nothing personal, but the MINUTE I see a new “companions react” blog, I block it so fast I imagine its creator can feel it.
Companions react blogs, I will pay you cold, hard cash to do the following:
1. Put your INSANELY LONG imagines/headcanon posts behind a read more so virtually everyone else in the fandom doesn’t have to have the tags clogged by them,
2. tag things that are NSFW,
3. and stop making insanely weird, specific posts about deeply sensitive topics without being thoughtful and putting a little effort into research. Yes, this is @ you people who do things like “COMPANIONS REACT TO X HAVING A MISCARRIAGE“ or “COMPANIONS REACT TO X HAVING A TERMINAL DISEASE.”
I’m glad I can block a certain word on here that I don’t wish to see. It’s honestly been so triggering with having recurrent miscarriages myself.
Like some content regarding the “a” word, wouldn’t be so bad because I feel for those women. While others takes makes me feel alone, isolated and not valid as a mother. I’ve gone through labor 3 times resulting as a loss each time.
Don’t forget about us please. Bereaved mamas like me have a stigma around us. We’d like a change in that as well. It has improved compared to the past, so I know we’re in the right direction.
I am still a mom this Mother’s Day
I’m thankful for those who wished me Happy Mother’s day and including me. This is my second Mother’s Day. I decided to draw our babies as a memorial.
I am still a mom even though my babies aren’t physically with me. My arms seem empty, but there are babies there.
I have gone through labor 3 times to give birth to three angel babies.
They were lost through each miscarriage, but they always remain in my heart.
From right to left, I put our babies in order.
First is Jellybean. (White wings)
Second baby is Rosalina and third is Chily. (Both rainbow wings - indicating rainbow baby losses.)
Thinking of all the other mommies this Mother’s Day who had their babies meet the same fates my did. ;w; We are valid.
Happy International Women’s Day
1 out of 4 women experience pregnancy loss.
1% experience recurrent miscarriages.
I fall under these. I’ve made artworks for each losses.
Many women suffer in silence from such a traumatic event.
You are not alone. Break the stigma.
Spread the word.
Remember us.
Pregnancy loss isn’t “oversharing”. We’ve lost a part of us and family. Such a traumatic event in our lives that other people could share about their loved ones dying.
Our babies died, too. They’re valid to us.
Let’s stop shaming women for sharing their stories.
The law of unintended consequences (unless part of the point is making women suffer).
I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks 5 days on Monday. It wasn’t unexpected, it had been 2 weeks of up and down emotions with blood work, ultrasounds, etc. But I’m having a hard time.
I just want to be pregnant again.
After my miscarriage in September, our rainbow baby is coming soon ❤️
Reminder, miscarriages are not the same as abortions. It is not murder. The unborn baby (fetus) dies on their own. No one is intentionally killing them. Miscarriages will never be seen as murder.
The funny thing is I’ve never seen any pro life person making that argument it’s also the pro abortion crowd accusing us
We all know why the idea “life begins at conception” is bullshit, but I’m also sitting here like? How the fuck is that gonna work re: funerals and shit? In the state of NV, a fetus isn’t considered ‘still born’ until 20 weeks. Funeral homes and hospitals in various states across the US have already been left to handle the final disposition of remains that would otherwise be considered medical waste.
Not to get too into the weeds, but after the cremation of a baby that’s idk 2/3 months old, there’s maybe a tablespoon of remains. Any remains left over after the cremation of an aborted fetus would be negligible.

“What we know is that what is alleged is that she was in the hospital and had a miscarriage and divulged some information to hospital staff, who then reported her to the police. And then she was arrested and her bail was set at half a million dollars.”

Lizelle Herrera was arrested and charged with murder in Starr Country, Texas.
When an activist called to ask the name and birth date of the person she allegedly murdered, the police said they “didn’t have that information.”
With the permission of her family, Frontera Fund has set up a Legal Defense and Reconciliation Fund for Lizelle. Please join me in donating!
You can also call or email the Starr Country District Attorney, G. Allen Ramirez, and ask them to drop the charges. Pregnancy outcomes should not be criminalized!

UPDATE: THE CHARGES HAVE BEEN DROPPED!
I am so thankful, but people should never be criminalized for losing or choosing to end their pregnancies.

3 sentenced in stomping that caused pregnant teen to miscarry brother’s child
Three members of a Texas family were sentenced to prison last week in the brutal 2013 beating and stomping of a 13-year-old relative who authorities said was raped – and impregnated – by her own brother.
Sharon Jones, 47, of Dallas, and two of her children, Cedric Jones Jr., 29, and Cecila McDonald, 28, pleaded guilty for their part in the 2013 crime, which caused the girl to miscarry, The Dallas Morning News reported. The newspaper reported in 2016 that the victim and five siblings, including a younger sister forced to help hold her down during the beating, moved from California to Texas to live with Sharon Jones, their aunt, after their grandmother died.
“Most people would treat strangers better,” prosecutor Rachel Burris said during last week’s sentencing hearing, according to the newspaper. “Yet these people did it to someone they promised to love.
“They held her down. They forced her to lay there while people stomped her. It was savage.”Explore>> Read more trending newsA judge sentenced Sharon Jones to 12 years in prison. Cedric Jones was sentenced to five years in prison and his sister was sentenced to serve seven years, according to the Morning News. The siblings and their mother each pleaded guilty to felony family violence aggravated assault.
A fourth suspect, Lonnell McDonald, was convicted in 2016 of aggravated assault and sentenced to 10 years in prison, the newspaper reported. The beating, which the now-19-year-old victim reported in 2015, stemmed from a sexual assault case in which the girl’s 24-year-old brother was accused of raping her in 2012, when she was 13. The brother, who relocated to Dallas a year before his siblings, was ordered to not have contact with them, though it was not immediately clear why.
The brother’s name is being withheld to help shield the victim’s identity.
Testimony in Lonnell McDonald’s trial showed that, despite Sharon Jones promising to take in the siblings to keep them out of foster homes, the children were instead sent to live with Lonnell and Cecila McDonald. Their older brother was living at the McDonald home at the time, the Morning News reported. It was there that the alleged sexual assault took place, according to testimony.
Sharon Jones is accused of telling the girl and her siblings to lie to Texas Child Protective Services caseworkers so authorities would not find out they were living in the same home as their brother. The 13-year-old victim told authorities that she told Jones and Cecila McDonald about the sexual assault after it came out that their older brother had sexually abused McDonald’s own three young children.
The women, who were reportedly worried that McDonald would lose custody of her children, never told authorities about the girl’s allegations. The brother has since been found mentally incompetent to stand trial and his criminal charges remain in limbo, the Morning News said. When the teen’s relatives learned that she was eight months pregnant, they tried forcing Plan B birth control pills and cinnamon tablets on her to induce a miscarriage, the Morning News reported. When that didn’t work, they held her down and took turns stomping on her abdomen.
Cecila McDonald screamed during the attack, ”(Expletive), you ain’t about to get my kids taken away from me,“ the newspaper said. After beating her for hours, they left the girl in a bathtub, bleeding and drifting in and out of consciousness, as she gave birth to a stillborn baby, the Morning News reported. To combat her loss of blood, they fed her iron pills. The victim told authorities they took her baby away before she got to see the child. The girl’s younger sister tried to care for her afterward.
The Morning News reported in 2016 that the younger girl, who was 12 during the attack, was granted immunity in the case in return for her testimony. After the baby was born, Cecila McDonald put the infant’s body in a bucket. She, her brother and her mother then tried to burn the remains on a grill. Sharon Jones subsequently paid her son $25 to get rid of the portion that did not burn. The Morning News said he hid the remains, which have never been found."To this day, we don’t know what happened to that baby," Burris told jurors during Lonnell McDonald’s trial.
If you can’t tell, the way the pro-life crowd likes to push women’s autonomy into the background as though it were some kind of distraction makes me genuinely really angry.
You can’t ban abortion unless you’re willing to take a large degree of control over the bodies of pregnant women. It just can’t be done. So you have an obligation to face that fact down squarely, not push it to the side as if it were some kind of meaningless talking point that the left came up with out of nowhere.
If you think it’s necessary to prevent some bigger crime I want you to be honest about what you’re doing.
Yup. Fucking own that having a miscarriage will summon the Spanish Inquisition and every woman with a wanted pregnancy is liable to that risk too.
