The illegitimate supreme court is committing violence against women.

Regarding SCOTUS protests, I want everyone to know that civility is a tool of the oppressors.

Go to their house and protest.

Go to their work and protest.

Go to their place of worship and protest.

Because abortion is health care. Period. Without it, people die. And that’s not pro-life no matter what claims these people make.

Today I want to share with you something very crucial that happened in my country. 

Yesterday (May 15, 2020) in Poland a pro-life (anti-choice) activist Zuzanna Wiewiórka was honored with a medal of justice. 

(”Stop hate for life defenders”)

She have been harassing a seventeen years old girl, who wanted to have an abortion due to risk of death. The teenager was seeking help online and she was found by the activist, who stalked, blackmailed and sent her pictures of aborted babies.

Moreover this is not Wiewiórka’s first action like that.

The girl refused changing her mind about abortion, but the activist was unstoppable and got information (most likelyillegaly) about her child’s father and her family in order to tell them about young girl’s plans. The family locked her at homeand she is apparently struggling with side effects of a failed abortion made with non-medical tools.

Zuzanna Wiewiórka also said that “Blowing up clinics offering abortions is a good way to prevent murder and killing doctors who provide abortions is crucial to stop killing innocent”.

What’s more Zuzanna’s brother Maciej Wiewiórka supports his sister. He said that “Sometimes rape is the only chance for a man to have sex”. I do not even know how to comment that I will leave you with that.

How could someone who technically took away that young girl’s life get a prize for saving a life?How is she called a hero?

I wanted to mention that anti-choice activist try to take advantage of epidemy and lockdown that makes strikes impossible. Their actions do not seem like life saving at all. 

I am shaking right now. I cannot even imagine how the poor teenager must be feeling. I definitely do not want to live in a world like that.

We all know they’re hypocrites but the levels of its brazenness sometimes is overwhelming.

The law of unintended consequences (unless part of the point is making women suffer).

To people asking “Where is the ‘pro-life’ side fighting for Syrian refugees, immigrants, etc.”: When will you realize that “pro-lifers” view pregnancies as punishment for having sex and don’t care about lives at all? When will you learn that “Pro-Life” is and always has been as empty a political euphemism as “All Lives Matter” for which you keep falling hook, line, and sinker?

Lets clear something up regarding abortion, since I seem to have to make this point a lot. Especially concerning all the rape talk. 

Those who are pro choice do not “like” abortion, nor do they want people to have them. We don’t have giant liberal orgies so that we can get fun group abortions at discounted rates. Considering how expensive abortions are, and how harmful they can sometimes be, no one uses them *just* as birth control. 

That said, we know that there are things that decrease abortions on a statistically reliable basis - comprehensive sex education and access to contraceptives - and things that don’t decrease abortions - NASCAR, the NBA, Dora the Explorer, and banning abortion. 

I *refuse* to allow the anti choice crowd to use the moniker ‘pro-life’. I am *just* as pro-life as they are - It’s just that I want to reduce abortions the way that *actually* works, not the way that harms the poor, kills women, and causes financial and societal problems. 

Abortion is a *medical* and *education* problem. Using legislation to ban the practice (and put doctors in jail? Teen girls in Jail? Make impoverished, soon to be mothers pay a fine?) moves that problem from the education system (where people learn) and into the judicial system. One that already has the highest incarceration rates ever in human history. And, you can’t ban something without providing a punishment for it. That isn’t how are justice system works. 

Simply because you have a 'solution’ that comes straight out of the 1800s (Just ban it!) doesn’t mean you care more about unborn children than I do. It just means you care *less* about women than I do. 

The secret to stopping abortion (the symptom) is by stopping unwanted conception (the problem). 

I will no longer permit the holier than thou false pretense of the morally superior position. 

The pro-choice and anti-choice crowds *both* want the exact same thing: Fewer abortions, fewer children growing up without families, and more happy and productive people. 

I just chose to approach the system with a modern, rationally sound, science supported, and societal helpful policy. We tried banning abortions. It didn’t work. Other countries have tried it, it doesn’t work there. 

Just fucking stop it already.

God I am so painfully tired of pro-birther rhetoric.

Even when years of Catholic brainwashing made me “pro-life”, I knew when life began was not the argument. This was a legal discussion- when the rightto life began was the question. When does one become a legal person? Now, the only answer that actually makes sense is birth, not conception or anytime in between.

But the thing is, is that that doesn’t matter either. Because legal persons are still not entitled to the bodies of other people. You would never,ever be forced to hand me over your lung. Why do I have to hand someone my uterus?

I don’t care if you believe life begins at conception. I don’t care if you think legal personhood begins at conception. I don’t care if you think a fetus is an innocent baby and that abortion is murder.

I want you to explain to me, concisely, why I should be legally obligated to keep a fetus alive, but you are not legally obligated to walk around with one kidney and one lung. And then I want you to shut up, because no matter what your answer is, it boils down to “I have the right to bodily autonomy, and you don’t.”

I can literally hold identical views to what I did when I was religious- that life begins at conception, that fetuses are people, that the unborn should have rights, that abortion is the taking of a life, that how you got pregnant doesn’t matter- and stillarrive at a prochoice conclusion. Because it’s my body. And it’s my choice who I lend it out to.

Contraceptives = bueno.
Abortifacients = no bueno.

It’s really pretty easy to understand people.

The abortion procedure is an exploitation of women, not “reproductive freedom.” Being able to say you’re allowed to end a life inside of you, which is made with half your DNA, and a 50% chance it will be a FEMALE, should not be something to be proud of. Choose life for your unborn baby, and show people how strong a woman can really be when put into difficult situations that involves an important decision for your own flesh and blood.

All stages of a human’s life.

If a single living cell was found on some other planet, scientists would exclaim that we have found LIFE elsewhere in the universe.

So why is a single living cell found in the womb of a pregnant woman not considered LIFE? 

A Crisis Pregnancy Center (CPC), sometimes known as a pregnancy resource center, had a grand opening today. They opened just right across the street from one of the reproductive healthcare clinics I volunteer for. 

I think free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and diapers are great. I just hate that CPCs use this to entice people into the buildings to spread anti-choice dogma and manipulate/abuse those who are considering abortion. They are usually part of an umbrella lobbyist group and/or affiliated with a Christian/Catholic church but are somehow federally funded. Even though the staff of CPCs may be in scrubs like they’re in the medical field, it’s often that you won’t find an actual licensed medical professional or doctor in the building. These people, who again are often not actual professionals, will provide misleading medical information to the people they trap. 

Crisis Pregnancy Centers tend to be trash. So, I’m nervous about what this new place will mean for the real healthcare clinic across the street especially with the constant protesters. Oh, god. Now I’m reminded of that documentary 12th and Delaware.
