just same late night thinking… we all know jumin has reservations about dating because of his father’s tendency to switch girlfriends a lot. what do we think about the opposite being true?
jumin sees his father switch girls so often that the first time jumin is married, he will do anything to stay in it. even if it’s become unhealthy and miserable, he’ll stay just so he doesn’t become like his father, one of his worst fears.
or even, if he by chance does get divorced, he refuses to ever date again, no matter how good the person would be to/for him.
valid, however, I would think due to his pickiness, he would more likely choose someone who cares about his wellbeing and would help him through some therapy to handle that trauma and would attend marriage counseling with him… while he may have unhealthy tendencies, his self preservation may help him find someone who helps him… I just think he wouldn’t even express interest for someone who doesn’t love him for who he is, you know? maybe I’m an optimist who wants him to be happy and healthy at all costs, even at the cost of my own delusion.
no, totally! but i was thinking more along the lines of “people change, they grow apart, so the relationship isn’t working anymore” because relationships usually are good in the beginning but can easily spiral out of control. no matter how good your intentions are. and i think jumin would hate the idea of letting go even if it was the best for him

also!! jumin criticism is acceptable but not flat out hate. it’s possible to love a character while acknowledging their flaws, as most of us jumin han stans do, so when people hate on him without acknowledging his good traits, it makes me feral.
