Similarities between the Sonic Movie and Sonic Movie 2
Ever since I saw the sequel for the first time, I noticed a lot of things that happened there that happened as well in the first movie. Now that I’ve seen the movie three times in theaters, I finally finished this list I’ve been working on since the first time I saw it.

To be a Sonic Movie it must feature:
- A bar scene.
- Tom punching someone in the face.
- Someone getting tucked in.
- Sonic eating chili dogs.
- Robotnik moving/acting like a robot.
- Sanic reference.
- Any anthropomorphic animal gets hurt and Maddie takes care of them.
- Sonic falling in water/getting wet.
- Musical montage where Sonic’s having fun.
- Afro Sonic.
- The Wachowski house being destroyed.
- Someone flossing.
- Someone spying on someone (Sonic spying on the Green Hills people and Tails spying on Sonic).
- Slow motion scene with Sonic avoiding the drones attacks and destroying them.

- References to other Ben Schwartz’ characters.
- Sonic falling on his face.
- Tom saying “What am I doing?”
- Robotnik shrieking.
- Robotnik talking in another language.

- Sonic saying “I can’t with this guy”.
- Sonic saying “Gotta go fast”.
- Baby version of a character.

- Someone from Sonic’s planet drives a car.

- Sonic being rendered unconscious at least three times.

- Sonic doing an iconic pose from the videogames.

- A young character is knocked unconscious and his new friend begs desperately for them to wake up.
- Sonic almost dying by Robotnik’s hand and getting a power up to defeat him.

- A character with a traumatic past is in need of a friend and ends up not only earning friends, but also a family.

- A beloved and very important character from the games being featured in the post credit scene.

Personally, I like this wave’s accesories better than the ones from the first wave, although I hope that isn’t the final look of the Super Sonic figure, since it still has the green eyes instead of red. But anyway, the rest of the wave looks beautiful to me
For a long time I’ve wanted to share with you my design for Movie!Sonic as a human boy. It is part of an AU I’ve been working on, and I call it “A Hedgehog un Human’s Clothing”.
In this AU, Sonic turns into a human thanks to the rings, which in addition to teleport beings to other worlds, they can also allow the user to turn into a being of the dominant species of the world to visit so they can go unnoticed.

While experimenting a bit, I came up with this design for Human Movie!Tails for the AU ✨
As he misses his twin tails while in his human form, he ties his jacket around his waist like that so the sleeves would resemble his missing tails. He also has more freckles than Sonic and a beauty mark on his left cheek (I didn’t know what to do with the left hand, so I never drew it )
This is just a concept and the design may change, although I already love how he looks. He’s just a smol boi looking for his older brother
Just designed Human Movie!Knuckles!
I don’t know what kid of pose is this. I was only experimenting and this was what came out
Before going to Earth with Robotnik, the doctor remembers the echidna will turn into a human and appear naked once he goes through the portal, so he takes the clothes of one of the creatures he defeated before and gives them to Knuckles (only the pants, since he keeps the boots and the gloves even in his human form). It isn’t until Robotnik offers him working together that he gets him better clothes: green cargo pants, a white sleeveless shirt, a cropped red tank top and a green bandana. Knuckles also ties part of his dreadlocks, but they get loose after the battle in the temple.
As Human Movie!Tails, this is just a first concept and might be changed later. I really loved Movie! Knuckles and I was eager to finally design his human form ❤️
Here he is, people! The last of my moldable foamy figurines: our favorite echidna warrior is now pocket size and ready for action!
He’s actually pretty big compared to the other two figures, and he proved to be a worthy opponent since making him was the highest level of difficulty (even more than Tails!)
I almost gave up due to all the trouble that was the making of this figure, but now that I see it finished, I think like it came out pretty good

EPILOGUE
Sonic friends hug him, happy of seeing him safe and sound. They all get back to South Island to say goodbye, but before throwing a ring, Sonic looks at the Wachowskis with sadness in his eyes; the hedgehog shakes his bag and from it falls a single ring.
Sonic is sad because Warp Rings are now very rare and hard to find, and as this is his last one, and uses it to return to Earth, he would never go back to his planet, but if he stays, he would never go back to Earth again.
He chooses staying on his planet since Robotnik is still out there and the place need a hero just like Green Hills needs Tom. The Wachowskis understand and say their goodbyes to Sonic. Tom and Sonic hug. Before they go, Sonic gives them his scrapbook so they would remember him. Sonic throws his last ring and the Wachowskis disappear behind the portal.
A few weeks later, Sonic wakes up knowing it must be Christmas Day on Earth. He finds a old wooden box at the foot of his bed and is astonished at what he finds inside.
Meanwhile on Earth, the Wachowskis are doing the dishes when they hear strange sounds coming out from Sonic’s former room. They go upstairs to investigate and find Sonic, Tails and Knuckles standing next to Sonic’s bed. The Wachowskis hug them and Sonic tells them that Santa Claus visited him and gave him a box full of warp rings (it was actually Knuckles who did this. He felt he owed to Sonic, so he spent days digging until he got a huge amount of rings for Sonic. Tails finds out about this and makes Knuckles a new pair of shoes and gloves). Sonic gives Tom and Maddie half of his rings so they could visit his planet whenever they want.
The Wachowskis welcome them and tell Sonic that Santa left another gift for him with them. The gift is a snowboard with Sonic’s favorite colors and the hedgehog goes outside to finally have fun with his friends in the snow.
Meanwhile, Robotnik makes it back to the Chemical Plant holding one of Sonic’s quills. It is revealed that he’s been working on a new and improved robot that looks like Sonic. He puts the quill inside the robot so it can be his core and the robot comes to life showing his glowing red eyes.

Part 3.1
During the fight, Sonic grows weaker since the energy from his quills isn’t enough; he needs the blue emerald since it was fused with him.
Robotnik wins the upperhand and he’s about to squash Sonic, but the hedgehog is saved by Knuckles, who distracts Robotnik while Tails takes Sonic to a safer place. Sonic tells his friends his situation; he has one last chance to try to get the emeralds before he runs out of energy, so he, Tails and Knuckles make their move, launching Sonic at the robot, but it teleports in the last moment and reappears behind Sonic, punching him and sending him to crash with one of the loops.
Sonic wakes up finding out one of his legs has been injured. Unable to move, Sonic watches in dispair as Robotnik is about to kill him with a powerful blast of energy, but Tails gets in the way and is hit instead of Sonic.
Sonic is furious. Using the energy saved in the soles of the Power Sneakers, he takes impulse by running on another loop and launches himself at the giant robot, taking Robotnik out of guard and hitting it straight in the chest where the emeralds are. The robot falls to the ground.
Sonic’s friends gather around Tails and look at the downed robot. A few seconds later, Sonic comes out floating from the robot, now with yellow (almost golden) fur and ruby red eyes. He then lands next to Tails and heals his wounds.
Sonic charges at the robot again and gains the upperhand. Desperate, Robotnik uses all of the emeralds to charge the robot instead of just one at a time, making him lose control of his creation.
The robot takes Sonic’s friends and flies very high. Sonic reaches them and uses a ring to get them to safety at Angel Island. When he’s about to take the emeralds, he sees Robotnik crying for help and decides to save him using a ring. Sonic charges at the robot one last time, going straight to his chest and taking the emeralds with him. Before teleporting with his friends, the robot explodes and rubble falls into the ocean.
A few moments later, Angel Island starts moving and Knuckles notices it is going up. The island is floating again where it belongs, the plants, rivers and waterfalls come back to life and Flickies and Chao come back home.
Tom then points out they need to find Sonic. One of the Chao tells Knuckles they saw him and they lead them where the hedgehog is.
They find Sonic lying lifeless below the Master Emerald’s temple. The seven emeralds are floating around the now restored emerald. Sonic gave up his powers to save the island and planet.
Suddenly, the god Chaos rises from the water and puts his hand over Sonic’s chest, fusing the emerald with him again. Sonic comes back to life and thanks him. Chaos dissapears into the water.
After watching Sonic 2 (and officially loving Knuckles now, well THIS Knuckles), I just thought of something:
- Knuckles would not only protect his family, he would protect anyone or anything that he believes needs his protection.
- So imagine like Sonic at the beginning of the film when he tried to be Batman, Knuckles does everything in his power to protect the “weak and helpless”.
