More pictures of my Saint Paulina’s flowers
Love the way the sunlight hits this plant
Stone plant update: Looks like one of my lithops splitting into two! There will be four in that pot soon :)
I’ve been away for three weeks and everyone is still alive!
New flowers on the way!
Most of the yellow daffs around are starting to fade but these lovely Narcissus have just come up!
Big Björk is certainly living up to her name, she’s so tall!
Came home to some flowers from Matilda :)

Experimenting With Plants
Idk if this is controversial or not, and I have no idea if it will work for you. I’m just saying what I did when I wanted my African violet to bloom again.
They say to keep the soil evenly moist, but I’ve also read that stress can encourage blooming. So I took a shot in the dark and started letting it dry out. I never water until it’s bone dry.
I like the results so far; I hope they last.
Not Your Average Pot
I know they’re not wacky or crazy or genital-shaped, but I’m pretty fond of the color scheme I’ve managed to pull together in my bathroom. Now maybe a bunch of blue plants so the can match too…
The Newbie
I’ve actually slowed down my plant shopping considerably, and I think this is still my most recent plant purchase. Still haven’t given it a personal name. Suggestions are encouraged!
Prayer Plant
Cousins don’t always resemble one another so much. My red vein Maranta, Fight Shrub, looks nothing like her cousin Carlisle(Calathea lancifolia).
They bond over yoga every day. ♀️♂️
Fall Colors
Since I’m in the southern US, where fall is extra summer, this is where I get to see fall colors. My mom’s Croton ‘Petra’ did not fare well inside last winter❄, and she still hasn’t really bounced back as much as I hoped she would. Just do your best, honey!
Most Proud Of:
Okay, I know this little fiddle has seen better days. I for one am thankful that he hangs on. Phinneas the Ficus, ya’ll. Bask in his glory(and edema).
Tiny Plant Before Tuesday
Grown From Seed
I feel certain I shared pictures of my okra spouts when I first plotted them in spring. So cute, just a couple inches high. I wasn’t sure if they’d have time to mature before cold weather. (First timer growing food).
Now all of them are taller than me! Hence the upward angle of the photo. They started producing months ago, probably around two feet tall.
I still can’t believe one of my crops survived! I also tried to grow cantelope, corn, and brussel sprouts. They are no longer with us.
Flaunt Your Leaves
So proud of these baby leaves emerging from my butterfly cuttings! Aaaahhhhh so excited to watch them fill up a pot of their own!
