#fall colors
Happy halloween, my lovelies! I feel so happy at the close of this October. Even though I didn’t draw as much as I was hoping, I feel like I made a lot of steps towards marketing my art (which is the part I’ve always been bad at ) I’ve met so many great people through the pop-ups I’ve done, and am on the verge of opening an online store, which will carry these little bunny block prints! I hope you all have a wonderful night!

A re-edit of a photo I took last fall. After a nice autumn day of hiking Interstate State Park, we were rewarded with a sunset over the Saint Croix River gorge between Wisconsin (left) and Minnesota (right). Interesting geek fact - the gorge is an ancient fault line crack in the exposed rock that is more than half the age of the earth.

Fall’s Finale

Another common seasonal word in Japanese: 紅葉, momiji. Momiji refers to the maple leaf, but it also means leaves turning red, or autumnal colors (the characters themselves mean ‘red’ and ‘leaf’). And again, ‘momiji’ is a special reading for these characters.
