my bestie and i have gone from wishing for natebex in a “rupert gets cheated on without knowing” way to a “rupert orchestrates it all because he thinks that could make them easier to manipulate, but it backfires” way. just them being subtly pushed to interact more by rupert in a way that maybe even the audience doesn’t realise, until it becomes obvious. but then, it is real, more real than rupert could have hoped for, and it backfires (because i desperately want them to be the ones who expose rupert)
(and listen, yes, this has big “rupert as a master villain” vibes but it’s not like this will happen in canon anyway, so i can toy around with rupert! because he’s FUN to imagine doing stuff that can just be Messy without any need to justify him, because there just isn’t a justification)

not a fan of how nate is the only one whose casual misogyny (sexism) is even up for debate when not only is he a byproduct of his environment but also genuinely not the only one, within the show, to exhibit it

One is an Encanto artwork of Bruno trying to bashfully show a fake rat wedding to Pepa and Félix, much to her displeasure.
The second one is an artwork of Fear Street 1978. Cindy is facepalming while Ziggy lays on a small moss cube within which Alice is smoking a blunt.
The third one is Benjamin Linus inside the Orchid Station as a kid, aged fourteen, more or less. There is lots of flowers around him and the Orchid Station’s sign both on the floor and on the door behind him.
The fourth one is a Judas’ Kiss-like artwork of Nathan Shelley’s “betrayal”. He’s kissing Ted Lasso while above them hang the newspapers about Ted’s leaked panic attack that Trent Crimm is holding. They’re supposed by all the main characters. Nathan is held back by Rupert, the only person smiling. Everyone else is upset. It’s divided in three blocks, the first one of those who directly or indirectly know of the leak (Ted, Nathan, Rupert, Trent and Beard), the second of those closest to Ted but unknowing of who leaked it (Rebecca, Higgins, Keeley and Roy) and the players, who know nothing and are all looking at Isaac’s phone.
